How do I keep the LCD screen from dimming when I am taking awhile to focus? It has a short time that it stays bright then it dims. TY

Does anyone know of a Windows program, Android App, or device that will allow me to basically push the AF button? The half press autofocus does a terrible job, the focus on Live View in the Fuji app doesn't work for shooting pixelshift, and manually pressing the button makes it move. Thanks!
