  1. Sorry, no. The slot is a completely different size, it won’t even fit.
  2. I think this is what you're looking for: https://www.dpreview.com/forums/thread/4680053 in short: • A single face detected in or near the focus area will be marked with a white frame. • If multiple faces are detected in the focus area, the camera will select one automatically. • You can choose a different subject by tapping the display to reposition the focus area. The focus stick (focus lever) can also be used if WIDE is selected for AF MODE. • When DIRECT AF POINT SELECTION or EDIT FOCUS AREA is chosen for BUTTON/DIAL SETTING > FOCUS LEVER SETTING > TILT, you can also switch subjects using the focus stick (focus lever) or (during viewfinder photography) touch controls (P 31). • When the camera is focused on an eye, you can switch from one eye to the other using a function button to which RIGHT/LEFT EYE SWITCH has been assigned.
  3. That would certainly cause me to send it in, but it's sort of a question of your tolerance for losing the lens, risk for it getting worse, and potential cost. For the few Fuji issues I've had, I've sent it in through my local camera store, and my experience has been very positive.
  4. Hello all! I wanted to introduce myself. Photography is currently my interest and art. While I have moved on to other professions, I once worked as a professional photographer and graduated with degrees in photography and journalism. I started on 35mm film, but I've shot 4x5, Canon EF, and Nikon for work as well. I changed over to Fuji around 5 years ago after having spinal issues. Fuji let me keep shooting but with lighter weight. Since I've been doing better, but I have no regrets for switching. I love making large prints using a professional pigment inkjet in my home, and this drives what I want out of a camera. Fortunately, Fuji does not disappoint! I currently use a combo X-H2 and X100F. Looking forward to interacting with you all on the forum! Best, Implicit-solarium
  5. I know exactly what you're talking about, a friend of mine has Canon and says this is fantastic. He's a wildlife photographer and uses it to rapidly change between regular tracking and subject detection tracking AF. Unfortunately, in Fujifilm, there is no way to do this. To improve on Greybeard's workaround, The "RECALL CUSTOM 1 SETTING" Fn assignable function gets you close. If you put your "other" AF setting assigned to C1, you can use that button to essentially swap what your back button does.
  6. I do not watch this guy's reviews, but wow, watching even a small amount is like getting blasted with vile talk radio. I have plenty of grips with the X-H2/X-H2s but it is clearly not deserving of this stupidity. He does the same thing as talk radio too, where he builds himself and his own legend up in his own videos. No thank you!
  7. Happy to hear others are frustrated by this, because maybe it will get fixed! I do not think assigning ISO to the up and down of the dpad is acceptable. You can't see the exposure meter, plus it feels like a hack, because your first tap is actually opening up the menu. Changing ISO is done perfectly in competing cameras. It is fast and simple in Nikon, Canon, Sony, etc. It is, after all, a basic exposure control. To me, it feels like Fuji has had getting this right as a lower priority due to having most of their cameras have an ISO dial. Now that the flagship camera is missing one, they should probably get this right.
  8. Here's a list of firmware requests for the X-H2 / X-H2s I've either had myself or collected from videos/reviews. Feel free to add more or disagree/agree in comments! Control The ability to put ISO on a dial. Switch to Nikon ISO adjustment style (press + hold ISO button and use wheel, let go of ISO button and it selects, instead of tap). I came from Canon many years ago, but Nikon's system is much faster! Disable expanded ISO (helps make ISO adjustment faster) This may not be something everyone agrees with, but I'd like them to remove auto-ISO from the ISO adjustment menu, and put it in its own menu. Why? Because I want 125 to be the hard stop at the bottom when I'm quickly trying to re-adjust ISO with the wheel. Alternatively, give me a way to assign switching to a specific ISO setting to a button with one press. Basically, ISO adjustment is too slow and fiddly! A menu option to toggle the camera between 1/3rd stop adjustments and 1/2 stop adjustments for shutter/aperture/ISO. 1/2 stop makes doing manual adjustments much faster. The ability to assign a button to turn on and off any interface element in the EVF. The one I want in particular is the grid-- I would love to be able to quickly turn this on and off as needed. Pixel-shift In-camera combination of pixel-shift, or at bare minimum some way for the camera to mark that the cameras are a pixel shift group so they don't get lost before I load them into the app on my computer. Autofocus A better system for switching between AF subject detection for face/various kinds of animals. Currently I need two buttons (face and subject) and I still need to go into the menus to switch between subject type! It does seem as though autofocus needs a little tuning. The box in continuous tracking mode tracks things well, but if you try and shoot at the same time it "misses" some of the shots. This feels like asking for the moon, given how much AF as improved, except that Canon/Nikon/Sony/OM does this pretty much bulletproof now. Fuji is close, maybe they can get to 100% in an update... Thats all! Honestly for me the "control" options are most important. I picked the X-H2 for the viewfinder, but If I'm going to give up manual shutter/ISO dials, the command dial system has to be perfect. Love it so far but there's a lot they could improve with little changes.
