Hi all, looking for some help with this one. This is my second X100 (had an S) and have XT-3 ( and have had a couple of others). I have a relatively new X100F (only 500 shutter activations). It just started giving a pattern of lines on the images from top to bottom. Please see attached pix. I do not see this pattern in the viewfinder or back LCD screen while composing, but once pix is taken the image is not useable. It happens on both manual and electronic shutter. I doNOT believe it happens in Video?? Just still photos. It happens on both RAW and JPEG, and is visible in camera as well as on PC (and iPad) when pix downloaded.
I should also say that when I first turn it on the first 2 or 3 pictures are perfect. Then they exhibit the lines after that.
Fuji Canada repair services said it needs a NSPDS2 Lens Assembly at cost of $800 (Cdn). Ouch….. any one have any thoughts?? I find it hard to believe the lens is at fault since videos seem to record fine. Both RAW and JPEGS have the issues shown
