    HAve you checked your clarity settings? If it's not 0 there there will be a delay is saving images.

    Are your lens LM? if not then your hearing the focusing motor of the lens.

    Is this a new camera or used? If used then your shutter button maybe gummed up and needs cleaning.

    My understanding of the camera the lens drives outword a bit when it focus so if your lens hood blocks this operation you might get that error.

    I picked up my X100V while in Thailand, does a great job.

    I have heard that if clarity is not 0 then saves will be delayed.

    Theoretically at least the IBIS and the OIS will work together to provide more stability than each will individually.

    Is your setting set to high? I've seen that when set to high you could get upto 40 mins before a 64Gb SD dual card system will stop working because the cards are full.
