Recently I noticed white crystal deposits coming from underneath the metal mount of my X-E2s. I suspect it's zinc oxide from the galvanizing coating on the steel, but I don't know for sure. Anyone seen this or know the cause? The lens is fine with no fungus and the camera is used frequently enough. I took the mount ring off and used vinegar to gradually clean it off.

Interesting that it's managed to get in between the mount ring and the metal body.
