  1. Fujifilm says "..the X-H2S produces its 6.2K and 4K up to 30p from 14-bit readout, rather than 12-bit mode on previous cameras, meaning the camera can detail up to an extra 2 stops of dynamic range in video mode." and. "Despite the higher bit-depth of the 30p (and slower) modes, Fujifilm says the X-H2S offers rolling shutter rates of around 10.6ms in F-Log 2 mode, quicker than the 16.6ms rate of the X-T4. The higher frame-rate modes, or use of the original F-Log profile, see the camera use a 12-bit readout mode, delivering rolling shutter of 5.6ms." I don't quite understand... 1. does this mean all Flog '1' only uses 12 bit sensor readout, even at lower shutter speeds? 2. presumably having higher frame rates than 30p mean you only have 12bit sensor readout...so does it then improve the sensor readout speed and rolling shutter? and then subsequently, 3. If flog2 is used above 30p, and it does convert to 12-bit sensor readout, does it lose the '14 stops' of dynamic range? If anyone knows it would be really helpful
  2. Does anyone know if you can prioritise a face when multiple are in frame? The older cameras had a setting to change the face you’re locked onto, but not sure I can with XH2S?
  3. It did, but I’ve since found the setting. It’s called ‘movie optimised control’ in the movie setting area of the menu, top of the third page. Needs to be switched to off!
  4. Thanks! Do you have a link? Can’t find it!
  5. Hey everyone I’m aware of the official Fujifilm link for ‘flog conversion’ lut, but on DPReview they mentioned a standard rec 709 as well as eterna lut - does anyone know where you get these from?! Thanks
  6. It didn’t let me use the ring for some reason. It was only on custom 2, all the others were normal. I ended up just resetting that custom to base settings and restarting 🤷🏻
  7. God I couldn’t even get to the end of the video. He’s so annoying and arrogant ‘I am always correct’. I never trust someone with that lack of humility. Sounds to me like he can’t afford it.
  8. Hi guys. I wonder if someone can help. I’m relatively new the FF world and have an XH2s. In one of of my custom video settings I’ve somehow ‘locked’ the aperture control to the rear command wheel, and can’t change it back to the control on the lens. It shows on the screen with the little semi-circle to indicate that the rear dial is ‘assigned’ to aperture control, but I can’t turn it off! Please help!! Alex
