I have created 7 custom film simulations recipes in my camera. Do I understand correctly that even if I want to change a small thing like the shutter sound, I have to change it in all seven profiles separately? I have an X-H1 where the profiles are only about color settings and for example changing the aspect ratio of the image or shutter type is set for the whole camera at once. In the X-T30II, does this have to be set for each custom profile separately or can the settings be made for all profiles at once? TY

ups ... I "Use the [DISP/BACK] button to display standard indicators" and make it ... At menu i all set right, but button [DISP/BACK] "framing guideline and electronic level" set off ... its crazy ... I've spent so many hours figuring it out and it's such a crock in the end ty

Is it possible to set "framing guideline and electronic level" at lcd on X-T30II? I can only see it in the viewfinder, but I can't set it on the lcd - I can't find it in the settings. I can't even see the battery status on the lcd, but that's not such a problem ... Thx for answer

Does anyone here shoot to jpg using their own film simulation? When I got the X-H1 (X-Trans III), I didn't know that there were custom film simulations. But nowadays I see that there are many more options for the newer X-Trans IV to modify film simulations and I would very much like to try. But the fact is that with the X-H1 I usually can't quite replicate the sample photos of the film simulations for the X-Trans III in terms of image quality (I don't mean composition), so I'm not sure I can achieve with the X-Trans IV without modification what I see on the internet for the simulations as sample photos. I don't know if there are some additional adjustments there anyway, or if different models with e.g. X-Trans III shoot a bit differently. Owning an X-Trans IV means owning an X100V, X-Pro3, X-T4, X-S10, X-E4 or X-T30 II. The X100V, X-Pro3 and X-T4 are quite expensive and don't appear much in the bazaars - and if they do they are still expensive. That leaves the X-S10, X-E4 and X-T30 II. The X-E4 and X-T30 II are pretty small in the hand, the X-S10 only has 4 custom film simulation settings (if I'm not mistaken). So: take advantage of what the X-Trans III can do and try to finish the rest with post-processing, or rather enjoy the actual shooting and shoot mainly in jpg (raw too for possible editing on some selected photos)? And if to get a camera, which one? Thanks

Thank you. They wrote somewhere that the X-S10 doesn't have any movie simulation settings or that there are 4. I couldn't find it in the manual. So I guess as you write, there are 4 mods where besides the custom movie simulation settings, you can set other things ... I'll look into the X-T30 II, but it seems small in my hand.

I own an X-H1. I'd like to get an X-S10 for more film simulation settings. But I can't find how many custom film simulation settings I can save in X-S10 - also 7 like X-H1? Thanks

The condition is to have the time set to automatic ... Otherwise there should be no problem ...

I see the answer is not here... I've come across a dozen people complaining about this problem on the internet in the last week alone. Most recently today on FB, where four people out of ten are asking each other how they are solving this problem. Fujifilms cameras are often bought just for the film simulation recipes and the time saving of not having to use RAW and post processing - like Capture One or Lightroom. Fujifilms cameras also allow you to define 7 simulation presets at your discretion. There is one big BUT ... You can't save multiple white balance presets - why? If the camera has 7 presets, why can't you use them? So why buy a Fujifilm if I have to do post-processing anyway? Fujifilm is pushing me into buying the latest product? The X-H1 et al, is some sort of cropper that doesn't deserve to be able to use the full potential of Fujifilm cameras? Is it a disposable camera from the fair? It's been more than 50 years since man set foot on the moon, and we still have to manually re-set the white balance when changing the film simulation recipe, search our pockets for the paper where the setting is written, or use the trick of Fujifilm camera users who write the white balance setting in the name of the simulation recipe. Ugh, shame on you! Fujifilm's main asset - film simulation recipes - is disappearing because Fujifilm doesn't want to pay a person to come up with a few lines of code for a day and upload new firmware to the web to patch the wound ... When you see a person whose papers are falling out of their pockets while shooting, you know it's a Fujifilms user who bought an unfinished camera for a whole 2 - 3 (in my country) months salary. An unbelievable shame for Fujifilm, which perhaps they don't even realize. Do users have to do petitions and some happenings to get Fujifilm to do what it has to do at least for one day??!

(X-H1) I want to use simulations - for example: Kodachrome II - My Fujifilm X-Pro2 Kodachrome II Film Simulation Recipe | FUJI X WEEKLY Cross Process - My Fujifilm X100F Cross Process Film Simulation Recipe | FUJI X WEEKLY and others ... But one time the WB Auto setting = Kodachrome II - WB: Auto, +3 Red & -4 Blue = and the other time = Cross Process - WB: Auto, -3 Red & -8 Blue =. Even if I use only one of these settings, it is valid for all others where I also use WB:Auto. So if I want to shoot one scene at the same time with different WB:Auto Shift settings, do I have to keep setting Red and Blue while shooting, do I have those settings written down somewhere or is there some other solution? Or does Fuji only allow you to have one camera setting? How do you deal with it? Don't you shoot jpegs and edit everything at home? Thank you in advance for any reply
