I use Digikam which I like as it is similar to LR in a lot of ways ... I use it Linux as i am fed up with Microsoft. Digikam is available for Windows ... and it is Free. Here is the link https://www.digikam.org/download/binary/

Johant When in LCD mode pressing the back-button dose not give me that option. If you know how to do this can you please give me the exact procedure. As I feel as though I have set it all up wrong. I have had this XT1 for 2 years now and, I have had no problems, In fact I have enjoyed using it. Its just that I have started to get into Landscapes, and using tripod and composing using the rear Monitor/Screen.

Johan you may be right. But I can't see where to do what you say on the screen set up menu.

Sorry Alexandra, that is only for showing through the viewfinder. I have always had that set up, but it does not show on the monitor/screen.

Does any one have any ideas as to how to show the Histogram on the rear monitor/screen? Only I shoot landscapes and view on rear monitor/screen, and like to check my Histogram whilst composing.

I installed 4.20 then a couple of days later saw problems with 4.20. As advised downloaded and installed the 4.21. I am now not able to shoot in RAW the option has vanished from the Shooting Menu. What a bummer just on Christmas. Its a long way to wait till mid January to resolve the situation.

To get the best results to tighten them is to use JAL screwdrivers. They look light Pozi or Philips, but they are not. I have in the past messed up many camera screws using Philips or Pozi drive screwdrivers. Then I discovered JAL Screwdrivers

Its OK here in UK as well

A extra card slot so that one could install the PDF file on card and plug into the camera. Then enable us to read the PDF direct on the camera. I wonder, is this possible? It can’t be far away. Until this happens an updated manual would be most useful.

Not wanting to temp fate, but my XT1 door and camera coverings are now fine. Yet my Nikon coverings started to come off within 3 months. But they were replaced under warrenty.

Come on now “keep it simple stupid” Some people might not know that rule.
