  1. Hi, the new EF X500 Fuji flash is certainly very good, but far too expensive for me. For getting TTL and HSS, the choice seems to be between the Metz 44 AF2 for Fuji and the NIssin i60A for Fuji. But I can't find a firm confirmation of their full compatibility with the XT2. I get the Nissin i40, perfectly working on my XT1, but not fully compatible with the XT2... Does anyone have confirmation ? Which best choice ?
  2. Thanks Wilvoeka , very clear explanation... and I am relieved to see that it is not an issue !
  3. Very interesting comment, Tom H, and thanks a lot. It seems you are right, having quickly checked. I will try again this evening.
  4. Thanks for this, but I have checked this point, and it is correctly set....
  5. In the Setup / Button-Dial Setting menu, when you select OFF for the "SHUTTER AE" item, in order NOT to lock the exposure while half-pressing the shutter button (which is advised in case of burst mode, and also logical), the speed is not indicated if you are in A mode, or aperture in S mode. I even succeeded in getting no information at all (nor A neither S) in P mode... This is very unconvenient. Do you get the same behavior ? Is there a "logical" explanation ? Thanks in advance for your replies.
  6. I have exactly the same configuration.... and the same problems (or are they just normal behavior ?)
  7. Many thanks for your comment ; it does not happen with my xt1, it then seems to mean that the basic battery consumption in the xt2 is very important. In fact, the camera is quite hot after a one hour non-stop use (please excuse my poor "french guy " english !)
  8. Hello, got a problem with my XT2 (very recent, of course) + 18-55 + new "S" battery: the image in the viewfinder or on the screen becomes (without doing anything) very jerky after a few seconds. Switching to Boost mode seems to fix the problem. Same with grip (using 2 XT1 batteries) ; I also have to be in grip-Boost mode for apparently fixing the problem. Is this a normal behavior? Note: It does not happen with my XT1 and its non-S batteries ! Thanks in advance for your replies and comments.
