I used my brace of X T1s and my 50-140mm f2.8 over the weekend at Brands Hatch motor circuit and was very surprised by how fast and accurate the continious AF was. I also use them for concert and music photography where the subjects move quickly and are often in poor light and have also been very happy with the results. They are so much better than my old X Pro1. I'm really looking forward to the new AF functions on the coming firmware update.

I have the same issue. Sent Xpro 2 back twice to Fuji Australia for repairs and each time it came back with the same issue. Processing OK! error. Discussed this with Fuji reps, redid settings, swapped out cards, batteries, lens etc. Tried with different devices. Tried with other people's devices. Same issue. Finally the store that I purchased it from replaced the camera. Worked great. Then I updated the firmware from 1.01 to 1.02 and bingo the same Processing Ok error occurred. Upgraded to 2.01, same issue. Fuji seems to think it only applies to me, but hey, I now have gone through 2 Xpro 2 cameras and tried it on at least a dozen devices so I am sure its not me. I am sure its something from 1.01 to 1.02 that is causing the issue. I have been toing and froing with Fuji now for 4 months. All the Fuji Love, nearly gone. Love the camera but this issue is needling me in the back of my mind and I find that I am picking up my Nikon D610 more and more these days. In between eye-fi cards, the WU-1b and qDSLRDashboard app I can do pretty much what I want. (and what I want to do with the Xpro 2, but can't at the moment). I am hoping for a firmware fix one day.

Hmm, mock-up A looks like an ergonomic nightmare. Mock-up B looks better, but it's not really clear to me what problem it is trying to solve. In my opinion, the whole idea of Fujifilm's button layout is that it allows you to develop a muscle memory. I don't see that happening as quickly with mock-up B.

Try to imagine hitting the correct button with that camera held up to your eye...

I've owned the X Pro1, now own two X Pro2s. The X Pro2 viewfinder is a vast improvement. The refresh rate and the way information is displayed is much better. The camera is more responsive and the autofocus is in a completely different league.
Last week I used the X Pro2 professionally at a motorsport event, cars coming towards me at 100mph+ in misty conditions, not a single missed shot.
The X Pro2 is in a completely different league in every area.
If you liked the handling and form factor of the X Pro1 but didn't like the EVF then I think you'll love the X Pro2.

I really fell quite hard while cycling with this camera hanging on my belly. The lens (not on this image) is broken, but this camera is really unbelievably strong!

Everything seems to work like before the crash, I'm really surprised of the strength of this camera! Definitely feels like a pro body!

(And I also love the images it produces by the way.)

If you use the AF-L button for BBF like I have starting with X-E1 you like others may find it is too flush with the body to locate just by touch; that is without taking your eye from the EVF/OVF.  At least one person has reported using a small dab of Sugru to raise a bump on the button but fears that may affect resale vale.

Here is my alternative suggestion:  Cut a short, narrow strip of gaffer tape in the space between the AF-L and Q-menu buttons.  Actually I use three strips on top of each other to be sure it can be felt easily.  Gaffer tape leaves little or no residue when removed.  It is black with a rough surface and barely visible but easily felt

    Hey all,

Just wanted to share something with you folks. I purchased an xpro2 with 35mmf2 lens at the end of August. There is a promotion going on which many authorized dealers misread/misunderstood found here

    http://www.fujifilmcamerasavings.com/

Because there are discounted lenses being sold as well as the free bag offer, most stores believe you need to purchase on of the lenses of the list. This is infact incorrect. I came across this ad after I purchased my camera, called adorama, with some teeth pulling they realized the wording and honored. I also called fuji corporate. I just hate false advertisements at the end of the day. So it wasn't about getting a 60 dollar bag for free after spending upwards of 2500 bucks but more the principal behind it.

Anyway, if you purchased an xpro 2 with lens after 8/14/16 to 10/1 (I believe, double check the ad) you are entitled to a free little domke bag.

    Hope this helps someone..

Like Romi, I recommend that you look into the Moneymaker system (or similar). They aren't only comfortable but come with style too. They cost a bit yes but if you are handy and want something personal you could always make something for yourself.

I love the Hold Fast Moneymaker as well.  I believe they recently introduced (or will soon introduce) a narrow version of the Moneymaker too.

Yep it's just awful, if I shoot wide open, under expose by 5 stops then recover the image in Lightroom and boost the shadows by 200% you can really see how bad the lens is

I'm not usually a black & white kind of guy. And when I am i prefer to use Nik Silver Efex because it gives the best control. But I was out shooting some long exposures last night thanks to the sun returning to Michigan and realized that Acros + R is extremely fitting for long exposure cloud work.

I had it once at the very beginning, the file format was reverted from raw to jpeg as well as an other setting I do no remember, but date/time/language did not. I suspect this happened due to the internal battery not yet being duly charged, and anyhow it did not happened again since then.

I had the same issue with x-Pro1 or x100, can't remember... anyway I figured out that it happened for me when I swapped the battery with the camera turned on and that the new battery was not fully charged.
