I'm not buying I just wish they'd just stop with the "big" claims i.e "worlds fastest" etc.

I have both and I like the 35 f2 much more than the 35 1.4 and I'm using it more than the 23mm 1.4, recently. I'm contemplating checking out the 16mm 1.4 but i can't seem to commit and the current price just yet. I tried it at B&H and though it was great just the size kind of put me off but it was smaller than what i thought it was going to be.

40mm f2 or f1.4 no bigger than the 35mm 1.4

I gave up on the jpegs long ago. Just go 100% raw and apply the presets while your processing is the answer.

I wish it was IBIS. The keeper rate is amazing particularly for low light static or slow moving subjects.

well, i wouldn't mind a 50mm at f2 in my pocket. let's do it Fuji

To me that is Fuji's weakness the micro contrast. Yes, I don't see that with the Olympus which i do have also. I think it either the sensor or the noise reduction or a combination of both. Images with soft skin like this are a hard sell nowadays.

nice, the skin softening is a bit on the heavy side. I would bring it back some.
