  1. I have the 14mm, 23mm, and the 10-24mm........and I'm getting the new 23mm in January. Every lens works best at what it's designed for. Primes and zooms both have advantages and diadvantages, all of which I'm sure have been discussed above. The answer to your dilemma is not a life or death issue, it's what I'd call a 'first world' problem. Depends on what you shoot, how often you shoot it, how important fine, exacting detail is fir you. And of course how much you're willing to invest monetarily to get that detail. Only you can answer those questions. But if it were up to me, I say to hell with the mortgage and college for the kids!
  2. First day on the street in a long time. More here.
  3. Many people who ave a problem post here. Not necessarily a camera or photography problem. Often it's an issue of attention deficit.
  4. I have the xp1, the xt1, and the xp2. With each new release the autofocus improved dramatically. Perhaps when you shot with the xp2 the diopter adjustment was off.

  8. It was a beautiful day for strolling or shopping on Fifth Avenue. More here.
  9. I had to disassemble the 16-55 lens for the same problem. After I cleaned it up, I figured out a way to re-assemble the lens using one less screw.
  10. Actually, I think you should dump it all. Obviously you are much to talented and deserve much better equipment than what Fuji has to offer.
  11. I forgot to include this in my last blog post. More here.
