  1. I know I'm pretty late to this but I find charging my batteries in a cradle is better than charging them installed in the camera. I have a cradle in my pack along with an old power bank, so I always had a pair of batteries charging while I shot. But I have another suggestion: use a dummy battery. I do product reviews on YouTube, recording 4K vids with my X-S10, and sometimes I'll be out shooting for hours on end. Even rotating between 4 batteries (2 of which don't hold much of a charge anymore) I'll find myself dead in my tracks until my next battery is charged. I already had a dummy battery for my studio setup and thought, "wouldn't it be nice if I could take this with me." So I did a bit of research and figured it all out. Since I already had a dummy battery, I just needed a USB-C to 4x1.7mm power cable. Plugged that to my dummy battery and paired it with a solid power bank. Now I can shoot continuously without worrying. You need to have a power bank with a minimum output of 9V=2.1A, although 9V=3A is better. I currently use a Charmast C100W which is a 20,000mAh 100W power bank. The most recent long session I've had using this setup is a nearly 3-hour long 4K shoot, and I didn't even lose a quarter of juice! Not to mention my X-S10 didn't overheat, which is something I've unfortunately experienced during long recording sessions. And another bonus if you travel, this power bank is only 74Wh making it flight approved. Here are links to what I have. Not sure where you are, but these are links on Amazon Canada: Gonine NP-W126 Dummy Battery - https://amzn.to/47gnasp SinLoon USB-C 9V 4x1.7mm Power Cable - https://amzn.to/3GhR4At Charmast 100W 20,000mAh Power Bank - https://amzn.to/40MoQrf *Or if you want a dummy battery with a USB-C power cable check this kit from UORLEN - https://amzn.to/3Gbr8Xn Anyhow, just thought I'd share my 2 cents. Cheers!
  2. I recently upgraded to the X-S10 and initially had no issues. But after only 2 weeks of light use, I discovered an audio issue. I didn't notice until I uploaded my footage onto my computer, but all my clips had static in the audio. When I turned on my camera and started recording again, I noticed that the audio gauge was jumping even though there were no discernable sounds whatsoever. I thought it may have been my wireless lav mic so I reset it, but that didn't work. I unplugged it to try to use the built-in mic, but it too had static. I then tried my two shotgun mics, but the static persisted. I even tried flipping and changing the cables, to no avail. Mind you, at this point I had not touched the audio settings on the camera whatsoever. After searching online for a solution however, I tried every suggestion, in every combination possible, but still nothing worked. I even thought that maybe there was some sort of interference from my computer, so I turned off all of my electronics -- no luck. If anyone else has come across this issue and found a solution, please let me know asap. I'm not remotely knowledgeable enough to even attempt editing the audio track, so a fix on the camera is the only option. If not, I'll probably just have to return it 😢
  3. Hello! Let me start of by saying I'm very new to digital photography and videography. Back in August, 2020, I decided to start a YouTube channel to review bluetooth devices, and of course I needed a decent camera to work with. After a couple of weeks of research, I picked up the Fujifilm X-T200 -- by all accounts, the best entry-level camera at the time. Mind you, although I have some experience with SLRs and PAS cameras in the past, I haven't touched a real camera in over a decade (phones don't count). After a few days playing around with the X-T200, I was hooked! My videos were coming out great! And even though my phone could film in 4K, what I captured on my X-T200 was so much better! Recently, I've wanted to explore street photography and macro photography. These new interests got me started looking at lenses and other accessories. And while I was at it, I decided to upgrade my camera as well -- I found the X-T200 to be very power-hungry, and tended to overheat rather quickly. So I went and picked up the X-S10 a couple of weeks ago, along with a couple of prime lenses. IBIS and much improved power consumption were the biggest selling points (and the approachable price, of course). Unfortunately, that's the reason why I joined this forum -- to get some answers or at least some help with my X-S10. Thanks in advance!!
