I’d like to pick up a vintage m42 screw mount Fujinon lens to play around with, but I’m concerned and confused about one thing. Whenever I read about adapting an m42 mount Fujinon onto a digital camera, the fact that the auto aperture pin at the mount has to be filed down in order to be used is stressed, but they’re always referring to a DSLR. Is this also necessary with a mirrorless Fuji?

Anyone else here use the “lowly”, somewhat underrated, quirky 15-45mm Fujinon XC for walk around daytime street shooting who can afford to choose any other Fujinon at any cost to fulfill that position?

Anybody here regularly shoot with Simulation Bracketing?

Just got into the Fujifilm system a few weeks ago after a lifetime's worth of Pentax shooting. Picked up an X-T2 & X-T20 a couple of weeks ago, neither having any mechanical or software problems. Just today received an X-T1 in the mail that does have an odd problem. There's a distinctive pink cast on the LCD, the EVH and taken photo. worse in low light, but always present. Poured over the menu a few times, tried everything I could think of, but the pink blanket persists. Can anybody here tell me what this might be before I return the camera?
