I am using the x-s10 and purchased a meike mk320 as a TTL flash to use on it. I several other flashes (nikon, neewer) that I have used with my Nikon camera, and I have used them in both manual mode and off-camera with my x-s10, but I wanted a small TTL flash for ease of use. I am finding 2 main issues with the MK320 1. The color of the flash seems to be very yellow and unflattering. The flash is supposed to have a temperature of 5600K, but I find I have to set my wb to 4700 to get the best results. I normally use auto wb with ttl flash, as cameras tend to do a very good job with flash color. Even when using my nikon and neewer flashes in manual mode, I am able to use the x-s10 in auto wb mode, and get beautiful colors. But the MK320 is always yellow and sickly. 2. In lower light situations, I prefer to bounce my flash off the ceiling, and use the flash as the primary light source. This works well on my Nikon camera with my Nikon flashes, and with the neewer TTL flash for Nikon. However my x-s10 seems to try to balance the flash with the ambient light, even when it is a low light situation. The camera seems to prefer a high ISO with low-power flash when using the MK320. I don't know if that is a programming issue with fuji, or if the flash itself is telling the camera to use a high ISO to save the flash battery. I have to turn my flash up to +1 or +2 e.v. to for the camera to start using it as the primary light source. This happens even in small rooms with low ceilings. Any suggestions? NW

If you are shooting in f-log, your base ISO will be 640. Apparently Fuji does this to allow the extended dynamic range in the shadows.

In the bottom left of your display, do you see a gray M only, or a white MF? The gray M indicates Manual control (aperture, shutter), while the white MF indicates Manual Focus.

I'm trying to see how using the s10 with hdmi tether to the computer will work for livestreaming and as a webcam. (Yes, I know the latest update allows the camera to be used as a webcam using the Fujifilm webcam software. However, you do not get continuous focusing, and are limited in other ways as well.)1) When I connect the camera via HDMI, my live feed is at a weird ratio. The feed is clean (no icons), but is squished together. It is not the proper 16:9 aspect ratio. It looks like it has been squished into 3:2 ratio. BTW, I am shooting in video mode.2) Is there a way to turn off both the EVF and LCD to save battery and overheating? When tethering as a webcam with usb, I set the screen setting to EVFonly+sensor. This makes sure that both the EVF and LCD are off as long as nothing is close to the EVF sensor. That really saves battery usage, and keeps the camera from getting hot. However this solution does not work when connected via HDMI. The EVF remains on, making the camera very hot, and draining the battery quickly.Solutions?NW
