Hey everyone.
Wanting to get suggestions on the best lens to use with my XT20 for photographing artworks for reproduction. Most of the artworks range in size from 20x24inch to quite large at 48x60inch. Currently using a 35mm F2. Happy enough with my results but would love more sharpness, especially when printing larger than A1.
In terms of settings, i'm very much an amateur photographer (i'm an oil painter), so am shooting on a tripod with a 2sec timer, at ISO100, f10 and shutter speed on auto. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Also very tricky trying to photograph some oil paintings that with the glare, especially the one below which is huge at 48x60inch and very shiny.
Should I upgrade my lens or whole camera? Have been researching it and appears a macro might get a sharper image, such as the xf60mm macro?
