  1. I kept digging and think I've found a solution. Set recording for RAW + JPG RAW to card 1 and JPG to card 2 After taking the shot, press the playback button. On the top right of the LCD, the image filename is shown along with which SD card is being displayed. Switch this to display card 2 (jpg) and bingo, the 100% magnification is now available. To switch to SD card #2, press and hold the play button a second time (after the initial press to review the image).
  2. Hello guys, I know this question comes up a lot, but I have yet to find an answer. When shooting in RAW, JPG, or RAW + JPG, I can magnify the LCD (using focus check) and then rotate the command dial and get either 50% mag or 100% mag. Rolling the wheel switches between the two mag levels. This works fine for checking focus before taking the image. After taking the shot, I can review the image and magnify the LCD to 50% for RAW and 100% for JPG. Based on my searches of the Forums, I understand that the camera needs a full size JPG (on the SD Card) in order to get the 100% mag. RAW images only have a small preview, so they can only provide 50%. The common solution people suggest is to shoot RAW + JPG, but this does not work for me. I still can only magnify my recorded image to 50%. The only way I can review my image at 100% is to shoot JPG only. Why? I know I can convert the RAW to a JPG using the Q menu, but this is really tedious to do when out shooting. Any help is appreciated. Walt
