  1. Further to that post, my camera is the X-T200, not X-T100. Thanks.
  2. I'm also having a problem with updating my X-T100 firmware. I format the SD card on my camera, put the card in my PC running WIN10, download the firmware from the Fuji site and see the two files (FWUP0023.DAT for the camera and XFUP0029.zip for the lens). I've also tried doing this just for the camera. Then I insert my SD card into the PC and put those files on the card and put the card in my camera. When I turn on the camera holding the DISP/BACK button, I see the same versions that came with the camera. When I click on OK I get a screen that says Select Item. When I select lens or camera, in each case I get a message "New firmware not be found. Turn off camera." I have repeated this process several times to no avail. Suggestions?
  3. Thanks for your reply. It's the cable that came with the camera and used to work just fine. I can't figure out what has changed.
  4. Can anyone tell me why I can't download to my new PC using USB cable? I have the correct setup in Setup Mode: "USB Card". I can transfer photos using the SD card but that is a pain. Also I am unable to do "Simple Setup" for PC AutoSave despite having downloaded latest version of firmware for PC AutoSave. I keep getting a message "Cannot find Destination PC" . Also having difficulty getting update on firmware. I format my SD card then download the update to my PC and then to my SC card. All I get is a file about Cyberlink PhotoDirector8. Thanks in advance.
  5. Called Fuji and they tell me the camera needs to be repaired.
  6. If I focus on something and then stop, it often will take a photo several seconds later. This happens when I have it set on P or Auto. Just now I turned it on, moved it from P to Auto, didn't touch the shutter button and it took a photo. This can't be right. Help, please.
  7. That was easy. Thanks. I appreciate your help. One other item, and I think this relates to not understanding some basic aspects of photography. When I am focusing (on a plant or flower, for example), sometimes the viewfinder darkens considerably, even though there is a good deal of light on the subject. I'm unsure of why this happens. Can you help?
  8. I had a similar problem and received no help from Fuji. Many thanks to PhotoBeardo.
  9. When I click on the Playback button, I am unable to get photos to show in large size. I can only see a very tiny version of the photo along with the histogram and the settings, etc. How do I get it to show just the picture? Thanks.
  10. Have you accidentally turned on the self-timer? Sounds like it.
  11. My last post should have ended with "T.B.Fn buttons", not "TBNn buttons".
  12. I'm having the same issue. It clearly states on p. 188 of the manual that you can program the dial for about 40 functions but it doesn't work. I've asked the folks at Fuji about this twice . The second time they did not answer correctly and referred me to the T.B.Nn buttons.
