What do people recommend for a photogrammetry (structure-from-motion) lens, specifically for aerial photography from a helicopter? The 23 mm lens would have an ideal fov from my experience, as any wider and it’s easy to get parts of the ship in the image. Otherwise, I’m looking for essentially the sharpest, lowest distortion lens setup, but I’ve found online reviews stating that either the f2 or f1.4 are sharper. I do need to be able to shoot fast shutter speeds >1/800, but also work midday so no need for the widest aperature, and instead fix aperature to its sharpest setting for a lens, and set iso to ensure fast enough shutter speed. The f2 of course has a huge plus for being WR, smaller, and more affordable, but at what price optically other than the slower aperture, which I don’t care about?
