Thought to start a thread where everyone can share pictures taken of just the random and common things we see daily in our life or we used to see daily in the past etc.. yup ! the things which we usually don't take pictures of thinking it won't look good to showcase . but it actually has a different flavor and it tells a different story about each of us ! . so hope all of you share in this thread often the things which is or were a part of your daily life, but not taken pictures of or showcased or not given importance before !. let's shed some light into the parts where we never did before !. have a great day to all !. i will start with a picture of a calculator i used while i was in collage , recently i took it from the attic and it's battery has leaked and left scars across the display and exteriors . but just brings back many memories.

These critters are by Danish artist Thomas Dambo. They are currently hanging out in Bernheim Forest, a privately owned research forest and arboretum that is open to the public. Granted that the road to hell is paved with good intentions, I intend to go back there and get more better shots, now that I know where they are and all that goes with that.

Yeah, the X-T30 doesn't currently support tethering, unfortunately - unlike the X-T20 which I believe does. I live in (probably vain) hope that they enable it in a future update....

Tethering options are limited for the X-T30.
if you have the latest firmware version installed (v 1.40)

i have used that in my android phone to edit phone videos . does the windows version has the capabilities close to or similar to adobe premier pro ?, i haven't tried the windows version of the cyberlink power director , but the android version used to give less quality files compared to premier pro in my pc ,also didn't had many types of video exporting formats , still in android i always use it to do quick edit's for posting online etc.. but is the windows version good for professional work ? . please let me know , have a nice day ahead !

My name is Steve S.I live in the Denver area, and i'm a retired Navy. I know a bit about photography but not nearly enough to justify buying a GFX-100s.
I optimistic I can learn enough to figure out what this camera can do. Thanks in advance!

Definitely try some pics in good light of a static subject on a tripod. If those don't come out tack-sharp, a visit to the shop is definitely in order, Good luck, I hope there's nothing wrong with your camera. I've had a different mirrorless system (Sony) for 6 years and there is still plenty of stuff I'm learning about this thing!

if all this settings , tips etc.. fail . then definitely contact fujifilm service ! because then it might be a manufacturing defect ,which will be replaced by the seller . your camera and lens is capable of capturing way too faster moving subjects than dogs .so wish you good luck !

I too went the other way around.
I took family pictures on iphone for a few years. Pics quality was quite disappointing. And the choice of lens ? None.
It all depends on the kind of pics one wants to photograph. For street photography, the phone could be an advantage as the photographer could go unnoticed. But for portraits, studio work, wedding, landscape ... i'd stick with something like the X-T3, X-T4, Xpro3. For portraits, I am looking forward to seeing what the XF 50-140mm f/2.8 can give. I read and heard a lot of good things about it.
    No matter what, keep shooting.

Hmm. Ok the one thing I didn't try was turning off IS. I'll try that. Thanks! To be honest I'm a little worried it's something with the lens or body. So many pics are coming out soft. I'll keep trying though and try all these things. Failing that I'll pop into the shop and see what they say.

    Hi Hillsideshortleg,
I recently switched from Nikon to Fuji x cameras and use a lot of flash for portrait work (nearly always as fill-in on location).  Having researched it a bit, I ended up buying a Godox AD200 set up with an X1T-F transmitter.  Using this set up also lets me integrate my old Nikon SB-600 flash into it should I need to (though I suspect using the latter could only ever be in manual mode as a bit of research seems to indicate that nobody has actually got Nikon TTL to talk to Fuji TTL!)  That said, I have also started using large reflectors which are highly effective at bouncing back into selected areas!

One of the other nice things about the Godox set up is that you can very easily integrate other Godox flashes into a set up and maintain TTL flash without necessarily needing extra receivers.  (So I am thinking of getting a small TT350 flash just for general, occasional use too.)  Coincidentally, a colleague who uses Canon has also switched to a Godox flash set up so we are also planning to pool our lighting set ups for occasional, even more complex set ups.  Lighting spectaculars, here we come...!!
    Hope that helps!
    David

I usually shot smile photo. I think that this lens shots small area, like a 1-2 teeth area. In dentistry, everybody usually use 105 or 100mm macro lens.

Thank you for the response and explanation, really appreciate it.  Here's hoping the next firmware update addresses this issue.  One positive: I think power is still being delivered while I'm Livestreaming, the battery doesn't seem to discharge while plugged in and in use.  It just doesn't charge when the camera is switched off.  Hope that makes sense.
Again, thank you for taking the time to reply.  Cheers!

YOUTA reacted to CatsAreGods in Fuji x-S10 best for vlogging?
Seems like your question is more about using the camera as a webcam than about vlogging. There's a big discussion about this very subject in this very forum; one person even discusses that switcher. I found that the simplest solution was to bypass the buggy Fujifilm webcam software and just buy around $20 worth of cables:

Hi there, thanks for this discussion everyone. I've learnt a lot here!
I thought I found the ultimate solution for Vlogging, interviews, Web meetings, 4K Video and recreational photography, I may have been wrong with the X-S10...?
I already planned to buy a ATEM Blackmagic Live Pro, to steam and use the webcam function linking from the controller's USB. From the discussion it seems like that would be my only option if I was wishing to use the X-S10 as a live camera with its in-built features.
I'm now very torn between the X-S10, A600 and A6400.
Any other cameras people would recommend for a similar price and use case, ideally without having to use a video controller?
I've used a friend's Fujifilm and I would like to join the tribe, but I'm concerned about having to always lug around the ATEM controller and HDMI cable if I want to stream or go live.
Any thoughts or ideas here would be appreciated, thank you!

i think you could use a cheap capture card and a micro hdmi to hdmi cable to use fujifilm xt-30 and xs-10 as a webcam. i recently saw from omar gonzales video !. well at least until , fujifilm releases a firmware which allow proper use as a webcam like other fujifilm camera's.
