    I'm sure I'm missing something simple (and I'm sure I had the same issue with my X20 years ago) but how do you enable the hotshoe on the X30. The internal flash works normally but I cannot find a setting to enable the external flash to fire. Any help please TIA Terry

    That is my understanding - and also my pratical experience with the 15-45 XC (no aperture ring) and the 18-55 XF (with aperture ring) cheers

    Although I formatted the card in my laptop before I started - I then reformatted it in camera (as per Fuji instructions) before putting the firmware file on it. T

    Yes, Updated mine to 1.30 this morning with no issues. Cheers Terry
