I think making the GFX 50R faster and possibly equipping it with IBIS is a good idea, but to make it even more compact and cheaper is pure nonsense and hardly realistic. For the GFX 100S I see no potential for improvement for the time being, it has already been done as well as technically possible. This camera is both cheaper and lighter, why would Fujifilm now offer another variant with another model that is even more compact and cheaper than the GFX 50R? That wouldn't only be even less realistic, but also in no way sales-promoting. In the medium term, it might even be better to stop production of the GFX 50R.

Thinking about the 100S. Read you need a lot of capacity for the large files. What would I need?

These are two very different cameras and if you’re equally value stills and video I wouldn’t recommend a GFX100(S) for that. We’ve had the GFX100 here for a couple of months and though it is great for stills, it is a bit cumbersome for video. The AF works fine in single mode, but in continuous mode when shooting video, it can hunt quite a bit depending the lens and it often looses focus with moving subjects. Next to that the processor in the GFX100(S) is still the same as in the X-T3 and 4 and with the pixel downsampling (from 100MP sensor to about 10MP for 4K) it struggles in processing power. Don’t get me wrong, the GFX can do video, but its certainly not designed for that like the A1.

I personally hate watching videos. I much prefer a well-structured text document, with illustrations / photos when needed.
(Don't like watching TV either ... give me a newspaper or a good book please).
So I don't really trust the opinions of any "Youtubers", since I don't watch them.

I think this is a much better way to interact with people with a certain topic or subject. So you can answer any questions much more targeted and also show practical solutions. Some things can also be discussed more easily and openly.

The LCD only works horizontally (?). If you place the camera in a portrait/vertical orientation the rear LCD does not title upward like the XT2, X-H1 and other cameras.

Dumping Adobe for Capture One? Such nonsense. Learn to use the tools right and Adobe LR and PS produce stunning results.

Capture One is the best overall solution. Seems you're figuring that out. Dump Adobe.

I settled down with Irident X-transformer with these settings:
RAW process : more detailed
sharpening:none
Luminance noise reduction: Low
Color noise reduction : medium
Dng baseline : adobe default
Apply all corrections to the image. (all checked)
All the turn off lightroom checkboxes checked.
 
as for sharpening and further noise reduction I use NeatImage ( a Photoshop add-on)

I think it’s a tough ask. I take each with a grain or sometimes a block of salt.
I’ve produced videos and know it’s a ton of work and when it comes to someone doing it for their income... it changes everything.
 Plus in todays internet, I think business knows how to protect their products with hidden sponsorships, articles and with comments, down votes and customer reviews from employees acting/pretending to be normal users. 
My thoughts in no order:
 
Gordon Laing - for a long time I’ve felt he was honest in evaluations and I like his consistency in testing. Dislike his newer dummied down rating system.
 
Theoria Apothasis - has vast experience and equipment, not sponsored publicly or hidden.  But I’ve stopped watching because I’ve also grown extremely tiered of his consistently praising himself, then repeating it again and again and again in every video. The tidbits of “on topic” info. happen between long episodes of self praise. It’s exhausting and just not worth sitting through because it happens in every video. 
 
Kai W - entertainment. For me, he’s funny and original.
 
Maarten Heilbron and a few “others” I’ve gotten useful info from. Maarten’s a bit old school but I find him more educated then the others.
 
Pal2tech - Comes to mind but I think there are a great deal of regurgitated reviewers like him that offer repacked info they pull from others work and give bad and clueless advice to people who need real help.  I realized what he was doing after viewing others content and then his, plus his thoughtless bad advice on multiple topics told me he was actually a danger to people. Those poor folks didn’t know that what he was advising them to do was actually bad advice and showed his  inexperience. I have no interest for players.

I think that's insane.  Why not get a protective glass cover over it, then use Gafer tape to seal it up instead of destroying the aesthetics and maybe, just maybe the functionality of the camera.  Just sayin'
