A YouTuber suggested covering the two small microphone holes in front of flash shoe with tape. He was concerned about dust getting on the sensor.

First digital camera was a finepix f30. Was recommended by my dealer in Abu Dhabi who sold me lots of Nikon film stuff. Great choice, took it all around China and the Middle East. Only thing I don’t like is the dx memory card, expensive and not compatible with lots of machines. After two lumix cameras I’m in for a x100v.
