  1. Hello There, Recently upgraded to the X-T30 from Canon. Loving everything about it! Having the best time with the handling and loving all the fantastic features. Absolutely loving the colors and film simulations for every scenario... besides one: For work I need to record myself on a flat gray background. Tight head and shoulders frame. I need the image to look as ‘natural’ as possible. Which means that the ‘flat’ look of the Eterna for example is unfortunately not right for this purpose though I think it looks great. I can’t seem to find the film simulation and adjustments that will give me the ‘Canon out of the box’ look I got used to and need for this purpose. I am positive I can do MUCH better with my new X-T30. Would love to get some suggestions for the right film simulation and possible adjustments from the experience here. (The conditions I’m filming is natural light from windows, in-doors) After much play, closest I have managed to get so far was with the Standard Film Simulation. With adjustments: +1 Highlights, -1 shadows, +3 Sharpness, +2 Color. The image looks good. However, the image still looks like there is some layer on top of it. The contrast is still quite low. Almost like there is a waxi layer on the skin and less definition as in real life. Most other simulation make the skin look lighter or flat. (Same happens with standard before adding color.) Would greatly appreciate any suggestions that would send me in the right direction to keep exploring. Thanks in advance, Sha
