  1. Thank you. It does follow the 22, however I was expecting an "A" and instead it shows the calculated Aperture, e.g. 5.6; and I just didn't pick up on that. I also found the Aperture Setting menu option under Button/Dial menu where you can set it to Manual, Auto or Manual+Auto (which shows the value next to the 22 as you state). Thanks for your feedback.
  2. Just purchased a 50-230 XC for use with my XT3 I understand that I must control the aperture through my rear command dial but I notice there is no "A" setting as found on my kit lens. I don't use Auto that often but want to know if it is available on these XC lenses, perhaps a menu option I am not seeing. I also assume that the only way to turn off OIS is through the menu "IS Mode", correct? Thanks for any tips.
