  1. Perhaps you’re using the electronic shutter. Try the mechanical one for flashing.
  2. Some elements in (autofocus) lenses are „floating“, so I guess what you are experiencing is normal.
  3. The screen has its own brightness and preview settings which you can change in the setup menu. By default the screen settings make sure that you see something on the screen in all environments including dark rooms. To make sure you‘re getting the correct exposure independently from the screen preview watch the exposure meter on the screen.

  5. Most likely it‘s a wrong setting. Are you shooting inside or outside? What are the actual settings of the resulting photos (EXIF data)?
  6. These photos aren’t comparable, one was taken outside and one inside. At least, you have to open the lens more inside of a room.

  8. Welcome to our forum! Bienvenue!
  9. Take the Fuji and save some budget. But keep in mind the Fuji has an APC-C sensor, so the effective focal length you get is about 42mm.
  10. Welcome, William! There should be a label on the charger specifying if it‘s multi voltage. If it is, you still need a plug adapter. There are a lot of different sockets in Europe.
  11. Yes, I agree. You could ask a service center for a repair.
  12. Try cleaning the contacts, this might help.
  13. Welcome to our forum! Which lenses are you planning to use?
  14. I‘m pretty sure it is (the log states a bad kernel address besides other errors). Unfortunately, I don’t know where to download older versions.
  15. Sounds like a problem with the electronic contacts. Try to clean them carefully.
