hello, who use xs20 for video?i just sold my xt3 as i wanted better af and stabilization. I was thinking to get xs20, but now the sony fx30 at a good price is really tempting .Xs20 will still be 500 euro cheaper, (and i like the small body), so it still an important point. I use 95% for video, what are the complaint and the good when using this xs20? In your opinino can stand with fx30? As for lenses..i had 18 55 and 55 200 and i also sell them as i wanted only 1 zoom, as i don't want to change while filming. So may be 200 is even too much, but 18-55 is a bit short.With sony i would go for 18 105...with fuji i was told to look for some tamron. Thanks

yes i put it in the af globally But i really want to knbow about the lens will my 18 55 and 55 200 get all the benefit from the improved af?

Hello i have the x t3 with 18 55 and 55 200 and is use for 95% for video I am thinking to move to the newer xs20...mainly beacuse of better autofocus and the stablization builtin. It is years that i would like to have these 2 features at their best,i had before a panasonic gh3 which also did not have stabilization and no good af. anyway... to tell the truth i could do many things without these 2 features anyway Also i think before the xt3 loose all its value i might sell it for the upgrade. But for what i am reading around, the better AF of the Xs20 will be better only with newer lenses..so it means that i also should change lenses Is it true? I know that xs20 has also some other better things..no time limit (but i never had problem with this till now), 6k ( i always output 2k but 4k or better 64 could be nice for cropping which i use alot) better batteries which is always good How really is worth this kind of upgrade in your opinion considering that the iq will not change that much? thanks

Hello, i have a XT3, which i use for video..rarely for photo. 18 55 and 55 200 fuji lenses also I am thinking to upgrade to one of this new machine...what i am interested more is a aprt the IQ, the new focus function, faster in general plus the tracking and all realted , and stabilization Not very important, or not at all the 8k (6k only because i can crop not because i wil use it..) and little importance the high number of fps What is the best of the 3 models. SOme complains about xt5 and xh2 having too many megapixels..generally i cannot undesratnd if there is one of these model better really for video Thanks

ok i have it..though i don't really understand properly But what about those items that are now greyed out in video mode, all those relatives to focus? they were not before

Hello, just updated to last firmware my xt3, who was stil at 4.3I see there are quite a few change on focus possibilities, like instant af setting, depth of field scale, range limiter..What are these for, i mean how do you use, what ise the change?i work mainly with video, so all my question are video relatedAlso i see there are lots of setttings no more available when in video mode, which, if i remember well, were available before, simple and needed things like eye detection, mf assist..is that normal? thank you

Hello, i was till now searching for a camcorder for run and gun situation, i have already a XT3 with 18 55 and 55 200 but it is not so quick to use. So after considering Sony Ax700, some Panasonic ecc..i start to think..why not to use another Fuji, with a zoom lens, so that i don't need to switch lenses? For this i think the X S10 is the best, being small, with stabilizer and good AF (better then XT3 right)..also not so expensive Now the choice go to the lens There are the 2 similar 17.70 Tamron and 16 80 Fuji Plus there the bigger ones 18 135 and 18 120 from Fuji Now i don't know any of those..of course i need tha have good and silent AF, may be not too bulky or heavy...yes the 18 120/135 seems another range..but still i would like to compare with the other of course..it is FOR VIDEO! Thanks fot your opinion on these lenses, and also for the general idea!

Hello i am trying to set my fuji xt3 in the best AF setting for video. I'll gonna shoot a ceremony in a church, so i think best way should be to have an auto focus where my square on the screen is set. or best suggestion?not able to set it anyway, just trying to understand everything quick!thanks for help

Hello, i finally assembled a new pc. Not tthe strongest, i know i would work with proxies when editing video, but i expected to play the clips as soon as thy are out of the camera It is a ryzen 3700x, with 32gb ram and a gtx 760 (till i find a better one at a reasonable price) Now what it happen is very strange. Taljing about 4k video, files i shot in h264 don't play smooth, while they do when shot in h265. Both at 400mbps, 25fps. I havent done may other test with settings, but this sound very strange Can anyone give me an explanation? Is there some problem on my pc/os? thank you

Hello i have changed Pc. Now i have usb C type port available on pc. Can i use a USB C to USB C cable to connect fuji xt3 to computer? What benefit if any? Thanks

i have discovered the trick. The iso shown on the display don't reflect the effective iso used. When hal pressing the shutter, the real used ISO is shown. But only in that moment!

mainly what i expect to happen is seeing a change in ISO value, as well as i see F and SS changing I have these valuein AUTO ISO 1 Default Sensitivity 160 Max Sensitivity 1600 min Shutter speed 1/250 ISOA1 is the one in use now Then i try to point my camera to very dark place and very light place What i see is the SS changing from all the range..i see it coing down to "1 in the darkest or going up to 640 or more when in light I hardly F changing, and also ISO never change! To resume it seems only SS change when going from very dark to very light And as i told you i have tried to set the SS and F to fixed value and leave the ISO in auto and still, i never see ISO changing value when going from dark to light If i set only SS to a fixed value, i set it to 500, F do change in very light, while it stays in RED at 2.5 in dark and ISO never change What i expect is to see ISO changing value accordingly to situation, but it is always at the fixed value specified in MAX SENSITIVITY

even if i set fixed F ans SS ISo will always remains at that Setting!

i am tryng but i don't understand i always have the iso fixed at the MAX sensitivity ss go down to 3 or less even if i set minimum shutter speed at 1/250 I tried to simulate the settings as in the post

Hello, i have always used the xt3 for video, and now i am trying to see the various possibility with photo. I am trying to use the Full auto mode (exposure), and while i can see that f and ss would change when moving the camera, the iso is always on the same number I have set the iso dial do A, and the camera show ISOA1, with the number i have selected as MAX SENSISTIVITY in autoiso settings, AUTO 1 SO for test i set 3200, or 6400 on MAX sensitivity..and iso never change from that value ...it rather change the SS to unusable rate How does it works? thanks

right! i did that for the iso, but i did not remember i had to do it for aperture also! But strangely i have to set the lens on A rather than manual. why?

hello after a reset of my xt3 i can t anymore use aperture through the dials. I have assigned the aperture to the front dial, (both alone and with another command), i have assigned it to the rear dial..but it looks like no assignment is never done. Lens is set not to A what am i doing wrong? thanks

Hello on my XT3 in video mode i can set the info on display (or set them off) by pressing the BACK button But when enter in REC mode this is not possible anymore to switch this.The info are on screen or there are not Is it possible to change this? thanks

Hello i am thinking how to have more power for my xt3. I have right now 3 batteries, but they might not be enough for some cases. So i think about using an external power supply, a powerbank to use with usb x of xt3. But i read somewhere that the usb-c supply works only with the camera switched off. In this case the battery are recharged. With camera on the usb c input don t work Is that true?

no difference for me between 4k or 2k What i want to know if it is a normal thing or is a problem with my camera
