Just heard the news Af update coming in Jan 2020 😕 so crap.. They should have have fixed this long time. This been so long since they released the 3.0. Fuji is sleeping!

Keep moving the front command dial.. it will go from auto 1 to 2 and 3 and to manual with the same dial.

View mode also works as normal, but no image in the EVF either.Did you open the camera and check if you can see the sensor? the shutter might be jammed and thats why you got this back screen. if not you could also try re-installin the update again might work. if not just send it back to fuji

Do you have a screenshot you can share? You might have accidentally pressed the view mode button.

They taking so long releasing the update fix. I'm sure there must be aware of this problems.

So far with the latest firmware not seeing any af issue in video mode. It Hunts a bit on high aperture but not as worse at it used to
