  1. I had the same problem and went around the same loop. I don't know why they have the option to disable the hot shoe. There must be a good reason for it. I'm easily confused and Fuji did it again to me!
  2. I've been photographing polo on a bright sunny day, with my X-T3/100-400mm lens. The camera is set to 1/1000 @f5.6 auto ISO. Focus mode is AF-C zone at 9 point square. I also used single point focus with nine points. I was consistently getting soft blurry pictures which was very frustrating. I'm an experienced sports photographer and have never had a problem like this before. Then I remembered reading a recommendation to use a shutter mode of EF+M, where I had been using MS, a full manual shutter. So for the polo shots I was initially using EF+M. I switched back to MS and my hit rate increased dramatically. As anyone else experienced this issue or have any recommendations please?
  3. I've a couple of instances over the last year while photographing with CL (Continuous low) setting, the camera continues to take images although I'm no longer pressing the shutter. It's as though the shutter release button has stuck down. The only way I stopped it was by turning the camera off and on. However, it then just displayed a white LCD screen and would do anything. So I took the battery out and put it back in again, then it recovered. Has anyone heard of this before? I worried that it may happen again.
  4. Yes. I have the same problem and just don't use it anymore! Sorry I can't be more helpful.
  5. I'm glad they're addressed the AF issue. I wish they'd fix the bug where the AE-L button doesn't work when the camera is set with Auto ISO and Manual shutter and aperture. It's such a show stopper and must be easy to fix. It would be nice if the quick menu could show the exposure triangle and other main camera setting so they're all in one place and can be checked easily and quickly. While I'm having a moan how about allowing the card format command to be placed in My Menu.
  6. Wouldn't be nice if the quick menu could be customized to included all the essential camera settings like the exposure triangle, the focus settings, exposure mode, exp compensation so that you can see everything at once in one place and quickly change them before you start to use them. Wouldn't that make life quick easy and simple. Now where's my canon.
  7. I find this a big problem as well. I usually have my Canon set to manual, but with auto iso. If I'm shooting against the light I use the '*' button to lock the ISO setting from an exposure in the shade, recompose. Quick, easy and simple. Trying to mirror this with my FujiFilm x-T3 doesn't work. The AE-L button doesn't do anything. It's got to be a bug that I would think could be fixed with a firmware update? I can get around it by setting the ISO manually, but it takes time when you're in a hurry to get the shot.
