8-16mm opinions please.
Forgive me if this has already been discussed. I've already got the 10-24mm but I'm considering if the 8-16 is worth the outlay. I'm happy with the 10-24, and have had a quick shoot with the 8-16. I found the extra width useful, but didn't get enough time to really evaluate. Is it that much sharper? Reviews I've read suggest that it's sharper wide open and that the 10-24 needs to be stopped down to get sharpness across the frame. What do you guys think, is it worth the extra outlay?
