  1. Hello fellow Fuji-Lovers, the time has come to upgrade from my beloved X-Pro 1. The eye-sensor has stopped working and overall I got a bit frustrated by the slowness of the AF and the overall shooting experience. I do love the rangefinder style format and ergonomics of the X-Pro series and I have used the OVF most of the time, only switching to the EVF when careful focusing was needed (e.g. portraits). I also like the stealthiness of it, I like to blend in when I shoot. Speaking about shooting: I mostly take photos when travelling: so landscapes, street shoots, portraits. I do not plan to fast moving objects. If I had the money, I would buy a digital Leica M and be super happy (I have tried them a couple of times for weekends). So this all points to buy an X-Pro 2. But there is a big BUT: It came out in Jan. 2016, so 3 years ago and the price is still quite high. Also, an upgrade is on the horizon (some whisper 2019 already). I am concerned about spending so much money on an "outdated" camera. The XT3 on the other hand is about the same price but much newer. Especially the slow autofocus on the X-Pro 1 has caused a lot of frustration for me and I am worried that the X-Pro 2 is quicker, but not that much quicker. I hear that the X-T3 as very fast AF, especially with the "older lenses". I own a 23mm f2 and a 35mm f1.4 lens. I do not plan to use zoom lenses, maybe add a 16mm f2.8 do the collection in the near future. What do you guys/gals think? Does anybody have experience with both the X-Pro 2 and X-T3 and share their thoughts? THanks!
