  1. It's white when you've just sent the geotag to your camera, after walking around a bit it goes red, it reminds you of either turning off the geotagging or refresh the location unless you're still on the same spot... at least, that's what I thought it was :-)
  2. But do production numbers match sales numbers? I did benefit from the large production numbers on the X-pro1 as well though as they were virtually given away for free when buying a couple of lenses :-)
  3. My XT1 is developping an air pocket under the rubber surface. It just feels as if there's cushioning under my fingers. Edges are still tight. Less than one year old, 43 series. The doors are fine though. Taking it in for a fix, hope they are easy about it (KE) and the return time is short. (fortunately I have the XP1 around, surely paint wears off a bit quicker, but somehow the cool metal finish just feels nicer than the painted magnesium of the XT1 (which feels a bit plastic like) and the rubber covering of the XP1 feels so much more durable than those soft rubber surfaces on the XT1, of only they made the grip just like on the XE2 and XP1 on the XT1 :-(...
  4. As a hobbyist the enjoyment factor counts most. I sold off my canon gear as I wasn't using it after buying the T1 and ended up adding the X-pro1. While the X-T1 is the faster an better camera(mostly with Zeiss 32mm, sometimes XF 18 and the 18-55 zoom), somehow the X-pro1 with the XF27mm is always in my bag wherever I go.
  5. Surely the X-T1 has no internal flash, but a small hotshoe flash is included.
  6. What lenses are the choices? The smooth one could be XF, de busy bokeh one could be zeiss. (I actually like the bit more drama in booked over the creamy smooth one)
  7. Thanks :-) Unfortunately I couldn't just get LR, PS is included in the CC
  8. I'll chime in as well :-) Hmm can't figure out how to link to flickr pics though XF 18-55: Flower by Tommy Liu, on Flickr and the XF 27 mm: Toys by Tommy Liu, on Flickr
  9. Welcome! You live in a landscape photographers dream :-)
  10. Hi all, another newbie, from the Netherlands. I'm just a hobbyist shooting pictures in past times. No photog at all. After having enjoyed years of lugging around Canon gear with voigtlander manual focus lenses, after carrying along a borrowed M240, it was time to get more portable camera's. As I already liked the build quality of Fujifilm, as I already have an X-10, I took the plunge and got the X-T1, seeing the great big deal with the X-pro1, I bought it as well. Great fun camera's which make shooting pictures a joy :-) Hopefully I get to learn useful tips and tricks for my camera's on this forum. Someday I'll probably start to understand and learn using photoshop as well ;-) My flickr account is basicly just a storage for some daily and holiday pictures, feel free to peek around. www.flickr.com/tommy_hf
  11. At this moment, I like my X-T1 more than my X-pro1, but that's largely due to the technical advantages of the X-T1. The X-pro1 does have a nostalgic feel to it, which makes my x-pro1 my carry along street camera and my X-T1 the camera I use if I'm planning to go out to take pictures. I just can't really choose and probably end up having both. As of now, I really don't see any need to replace the XT1 or XP1.
