20fps burst with AF checked 60 times per second without any viewfinder blackout is way better than X-T2

Just because another camera comes out that's better than yours doesn't mean your camera gets worse. You can be excited for Sony and for people who will buy, use, and love the camera, all without having to hate your gear, or feel bad about yourself. The a9 is objectively better than the X-T2 in basically every objective way, and yet the X-T2 will probably do just fine taking nearly any photo you could want to take. It's okay. Take deep breaths. 

An easy way to rename the profiles and use them afterwards is as follows:
 
Copy the profiles in the Color Sync Folder (Mac)
Apply the desired profile to a picture taken with the selected camera (X-Pro2 for instance) from Base Characteristics/ICC Profiles/Fuji/XT-1
Open the Advanced Color editor
Save as Icc profile giving a useful name (the correct camera name is already there)
 
The profiles saved in such a way will be immediately  available under Base Characteristics and a preview will be also available going with the mouse over the profile name.

Iridient does have automatic lens correction and gives you also the possibility to choose the source : metadata (default) or LCP if available.

I had it once at the very beginning, the file format was reverted from raw to jpeg as well as an other setting I do no remember, but date/time/language did not. I suspect this happened due to the internal battery not yet being duly charged, and anyhow it did not happened again since then.

I have the X-Pro 2 since few hours but it is pretty evident that the AF is considerably faster than the X-T1 which I also have. So far I have only used the Touit 32/1.8 which is not a fast focusing lens.

I'm sticking with the X100S.  It has no problems.  The X100T has been mothballed until such a time as Fuji sees sense and corrects its firmware.
 
The X-Pro1 is also still fantastic, and gets great use.
 
I don't have a personal problem with the XP2, as it hasn't even been released for sale yet.  Maybe Fuji will read my comments, and those of many others in the Internet who are complaining about the same, single issue.  I have also written to Fuji in Japan asking them to reconsider their "improvements", but have never received a reply.  Fuji aren't famous for replying.
 
I bought the X100T on trust gained over five years of fantastic Fuji use.  I was disappointed.  A lot of people are disappointed about the change in menu viewing.  The recent change, for some photographers, is sufficient to render the camera unfit for use for their style of photography.
 
As an analogy, when governments create new laws that clearly go against the will of the people, the people protest and make their feelings known.  Often the governments will listen and adjust what they have done in order to be more acceptable to their voters.  To just accept changes that are not good is called apathy.  This process also applies to the retail sector.  We do not work for Fuji.  Fuji works for us.  If Fuji, like a government, does things that are wrong, people will stop supporting it.
 
I use Fuji cameras.  My last major exhibition was clearly publicised as an exhibition of images taken on Fuji cameras, as are all my exhibitions.  That exhibition in Milan saw over ONE MILLION visitors, all of whom were informed that the images were all taken on Fuji cameras.  I believe in Fuji.  I like Fuji, but if Fuji get something wrong I will tell them, so they can reconsider and get back on the right track.
 
Sadly, there are a lot of apathetic people around who just blindly accept changes, whether good or bad, and whose answer is simply if you don't like it, go elsewhere.  That is negative, apathetic and not conducive to improvement.

95% of what Fuji are doing is fantastic.  4% is not so good, and 1% is bad.  That's better than most producers
 
On behalf of those who blindly believe that everything Fuji do is perfect, and that to criticise it in any way is nothing short of blasphemy, I will voice my thoughts as widely as possible, hoping that those thoughts will help Fuji to avoid the 1% that some people would rather quietly ignore, and suffer in silence.
 
Fuji is fantastic, but sometimes it needs to be shouted at a bit..... as has been mentioned by others in this thread, if you speak quietly Fuji doesn't always listen

That's why I'm puzzled by users who change camera systems like underware. Today Fuji, tomorrow Sony, then Olympus. I envy them, because it takes me months to fully understand one (!) system: the sensor, the DR expansion scheme, the autofocus system etc. Those guys must either be geniuses, or they have no clue what they are actually doing.
 
There are so many details that are worth knowing. For example: Fuji has the LMO, and other brands now offer something similar (and yet different), but what exactly is the LMO affecting? Trust me, it's about more than just reducing diffraction, as the LMO influences at least two more factors that Fuji isn't talking about.
 
That's why I'm glad that Fuji isn't introducing 3 new sensors every year, like Sony is doing. I'd have a hard time catching up. Keeping X-Trans II for 3 years helps me, as I find more time taking pictures instead of studying how the new sensor works and behaves when pushed to or over its limits. And where are those limits, anyway? We need to know, but it takes time to find out.
 
Make no mistake: These retro cameras may look "simple", but in reality, they are sophisticated "camera simulators", almost like a flight simulator. With the exception of the zoom ring, not a single button, dial or control is hard-wired, not even the on/off switch or the aperture ring. There's plenty of high-end computer magic happening under the hood, and some of it just isn't trivial. And since Fuji doesn't reveal much useful information about all this, we have to find out for ourselves.

Also remember that "open aperture" AF metering is only available in AF-S and MF (Instant-AF) modes. Not in AF-C mode. Instead, AF-C is always using the working aperture of the shot.
 
This is also important for daylight shooting, as stopping down in AF-C will increase your DOF, but it will at the same time decrease the chance that the camera can still use the fast predictive PDAF instead of the slower CDAF to track your subject. So stopping down can actually mean that your action series works less well (= less keepers) than shooting the same scene with a wide open lens and less DOF.
 
That's why it's important to know how your camera actually really works. Since Fuji doesn't explain any of this, I spend countless hours "reverse engineering" such details, then sharing them in forums, blogs, books and workshops that cover such "secrets". It's simple news to use.
 
It's also important to understand the effects that Face Detection can have on AF performance. I have seen many users always keeping it turned on, which is clearly a mistake.
 
Other users have problems determining proper settings for AF-S and AF-C priority: Release or Focus? It depends, but as long as you exactly know what these options are doing, you can improve your keeper rate.
 
Not to mention users that keep their camera at factory settings for parameters such as Power Management and not enabling High Performance Mode. Terrible mistake.
 
And how does/can Pre-AF influence your AF performance? Are there instances where Pre-AF is actually recommended? Well, yes, but certainly not always, so don't turn it on by default.
 
How do Single-Point AF frames actually work in firmware 4? What's the practical difference between CDAF and PDAF, what does each of these two AF methods "like" in a subject? How can we use this information to increase AF speed and accuracy by pointing the camera at patterns and objects that either the CDAF or the PDAF are particularly fond of? In my world, that's useful information, too, so we are practicing this kind of stuff in our workshops.
 
What about AF zones? Yep, they are new, but how do they actually work, and how can we use this information to increase our AF keeper rate? And what's the difference between an AF zone in AF-S and one in AF-C, anyway?
 
Or let's talk about the new WIDE/TRACKING. Pretty much useless in concert with AF-S, but very useful in concert with AF-C. At least in some scenarios, where real "3D tracking" is required.
 
The more features and options we get, the more homework we have to do. For me, it's not about trusting the autofocus. It's about knowing it. 

As a programmer I would really wonder if internal upgrade logic is based on official FW number. Of course this can be, but much better idea is having internal versioning as it is under developer's control, while official versioning is usually defined by sales guys or "go to market" department. Also performing internal upgrade test benefits from this approach.

Why not just name a production release something like 4.1 or 4.0.1?
