Spike666 got a reaction from YOUTA in Focus By Button
I am used to focusing by button with my X-T2 and my Canons before that. In other words, only setting focus with a button. The camera is set on Manual Focus and one button assigned to autofocus.

Due to some ongoing muscle issues, I need to move to a lighter camera and am thinking about the X-S10, but only if it will support focus by button. Does the AF-On button allow this?

In xt-30 you can assign a button for that, and xs-10 is similar . so you could do it !. also since in most fujfilm cameras you can do it . so i guess you can get it ! . i hope this helps !. have a nice day ahead !

The DNG that IR-X outputs is a linear DNG -- a demosaiced RGB file in a DNG wrapper. You're no longer working with your original data then.

No raw converter is a "best solution" so we all have to make a compromise choice. One is better with "A" and weaker with "B" and vice versa. I think LR is a very good compromise choice and it works well for a lot of people. The issue with LR's RAF demosaicing/fine detail is pretty minor. It's certainly capable of rendering an excellent image. Just make sure you keep the original RAF file and if you find one that you're not happy with in LR then you always have to option to re-process it with different software.

Spike666 reacted to jlmphotos in Lightroom for x-trans... seriously?
I process and submit quite a number of images to stock agencies.  I have yet had one be rejected for the "watercolor" effect.  Now I've had rejections due to my stupidity and/or negligence in not checking certain things in the frame, but never, ever due to that effect. So, even though I own Silkypix and Iridient, I use LR for 99.00% of my image processing.

Honestly, it's not that big of a deal "when" it occurs (to me) and my way of shooting.
