  1. Admittedly I’m not a seasoned user of tethering with Fuji. I did some with Nikon to shoot files for focus stacking of macro images. However, for general use I have found the Fuji Remote app to be more than adequate. I use it primarily to control my tripod mounted camera when I want to avoid manually tripping the shutter and more often for downloading images. Question: What practical use would this tethering device provide? Thanks
  2. XE2s XT2 pretty much use the XT2 exclusively now. Thinking of pairing it with the XPro2....
  3. I have the 28-55 “kit lens” as well as the 10-24. Both are excellent. As a budget alternative to extreme wide angle, I would have a look at the Rokinon 12mm f/2. It can be had for $300 USD. I’ve used it for night time Milky Way photography
  4. Just looking for input into how much noise one gets with the XT-2 with long exposures. I am considering it as an upgrade to my XE2s
  5. XT2: when does noise become unacceptable? 10 sec? 20 sec? 30 sec?
  6. How secure is your WIFi network when downloading photos from a Fuji Camera to an iPad using Fuji Remote App? Thanks
  7. Is there a way to customize this to reduce the sweep or the number of clicks? I have been trying to shoot with a vertical L bracket and it seems I either finish too soon or the function interrupts because I’m moving too slowly. Thanks. Allen
  8. Thanks. That’s what I’m leaning toward
  9. I currently use an XE2s. I’ve done a fair amount of reading on these two Fuji’s and I would like some thoughts/opinions from those who have used both. What did you like/dislike? Reasons for preferring one over the other. I do primarily landscapes and macro. Thanks, Allen,
  10. I’ve been using the Flashpoint sold by Adorama. I believe it’s the same flash as Godox. I use the R2 transmitter to fire the flash wireless. It is full TTL and works well for me.
  11. An update. I did a reset to factory default and I can now access manual focus. I have no clue which custom setting was the culprit.
  12. I feel like an idiot here—I’ve read the manual several times with camera in hand and tried Mr Google. So here goes: how does one access MF Assist to utilize manual focus assist such as focus peaking? When a access the menu and toggle down to #4 MF Assist -STD is grayed out. How do I activate that menu item? Thanks, Allen
  13. I am struggling with a conversion to Fuji for macro. My old Nikon macro rig consisted of a D7100 with the 105 VRG lens. I want to get to 1:1 using my Fuji XE2s. Any suggestions? It seems that my options are either a 60 coupled with extension tubes or the new 80 2.8 macro. Unfortunately the second option isn't in my budget. I am willing to consider manual focus options, but prefer to have AF capability. Thanks, Allen
  14. Nikon user here; just got an XE2s. So far only have the 18-55 which I've heard good things about. I'll likely get a macro lens. Currently have a Nikkor 105 VRG. Looking for any thoughts on how to get to 1:1. Thanks, Allen
  15. New tonFuji digital. Converting from Nikon. Macro is my passion. Looking for a way to get to 1:1. Long time owner of a 120 film camera a Fuji645GSW. Allen
