  1. I'm glad to see that my intial post made you think about the problem :-) (IR led lite when camera turned off) I'm not quite sure it's really bothering in the end, I just wanted to know initially if it was something specific to my camera (it's a brand new one, I had to sent back the 1st one because of a problem with the autofocus mode selector which operated erratically). I still haven't had enough time yet to fully test the benefits of the new firmware, I hope it'll be as good as many have reported (especially in the C-mode). I use both 23mm 1.4 and 56mm 1.2, I'm not sure if it makes autofocus faster though in standard shooting conditions.
  2. I'd like the trash button to be effective while reviewing the last picture taken without the need to switch into play mode. It's a bit annoying for me coming from Canon...
  3. Not cool... have you tried to reinstall the firmware? Reset the X-T1? Remove the battery?...
  4. Thank you for your feedback. I guess I've never noticed it before (it's been only 2 weeks hat I bought the camera). I was afraid that it could drain the battery even more with this "standby light" on... Why is it only lit when performance mode is enabled? It's a mystery.
  5. Since I've installed FW 4.0, I've noticed that the eye sensor IR spot remains lit (red glow) when I switch off the camera. It's weird. This happens only if "performance mode" is activated. In normal mode, it still behaves normally. Have you noticed the same thing or am I the only one? Thanks guy for your feebacks.
  6. I still own the 135L F2 on my 6D and this lens is amazing. If you want to shoot portrait during a wedding when people are talking it's the perfect focal lenght. In a day to day use, it's sure that 56mm (equ 85mm) will be more useful and versatile. On the Canon system, I chose the 135 because it was an excellent tele but also because the 85 1.2L was really expensive. On the fuji system, I guess I'll go for the 56 for sure because the prices are quite the same.
  7. I've bought an X-T1 + a 23mm as a first unique lens. I'm still waiting my parcel so my testimony is worth nothing but I'm quite sure that it'll be more versatile than one single 35mm. I have an EF 50mm 1.4 on my FF Canon 6D and I mainly use it for portraiture, or night photography. Most of the time, I feel it to be too much narrow and not confortable specifically for indoor shootings. As I was looking for a light kit and a 2nd body, my objective is to have only 2 primes lens on the X-System : 23mm 1.4R and 56mm 1.2R. Of course, I still need to make savings for the 56 1.2, so I'll do my first steps only with the 23mm and it could be a good thing. Indeed, I'll be focused on framing and not switching from a lens to another as I tend to do with my 6D and the 17-40 f4, 24-105 f4, 50 f1.4, 135 f2 in the bag.
