Isn't it what works best for the individual? Nothing wrong with opinions, either. Many times they are spot-on. However, many times errant opinions are taken as gospel without the individual checking it out themselves to draw a conclusion. As far as Steve Huff- didn't he dump his Leica 240 for Sony A7 series cameras? I'll say this, before I had to sell my gear some years back, it was all Nikon. Having said that, I can't say I'll be going back to them, except perhaps for a 35mm film camera...maybe. I've been a fan of Fuji for years, waiting for them to have their day in the sun. That day has dawned, IMO.

THIS ^^^^ X-Pro2 with a sensor to compete with the Sony A7, Updated EVF, and a build quality that equals if not rivals the olympus and pentax k3. DONE. I'd settle for a 2nd-gen XT-1 with the same.

I see nothing wrong with a 1.0 but yes, why not just go all-out and produce a f/0.95? Those who dismiss the mighty Noctilux f/0.95 usually do so for the simple reason that they will NEVER be able to afford one, so they slam the lens to make themselves feel better. Yes, there have been fantastic images captured with many other lenses, but truly the Noctilux is in a class by itself and in schooled hands renders superb results. I'd love to see what Fuji can cook up in an answer to the Leica Noctilux. My guess is they would bring something to the table that is sterling. IMO and all that.
