  1. Xpro1: Acros film simulation red Focus peaking colour X100s: Acros film simulation exposure compensation in manual mode
  2. I bought the xpro1 last summer. In my opinion the only limitation is focus peaking when you're using manual focus lenses. The black/white line for focus is hard to see. I believe that it'll be easier with colored lines. Also it doesn't refresh while the xpro1 is writing to SD card. I'm using the first version Minolta Rokkor MD 58mm 1.2 with a novoflex adapter. In terms of IQ still among the best & it's been 5 years already since it came out. 5 digital years, that's like 35 analog years
  3. I don't understand all the hype about it! Can someone explain? Price, size and weight are not too far off of the 1.4 which is an awesome lens! So why that f2? WR okay, but then what? The 1.4 outperforms it. Fujifilm's starting to make weird decisions in their product line.
  4. My X-pro1 arrived today! Purchased for 487,90 EUR completely new! And I have to say *IT'S STILL WORTH BUYING* three years after release! It's probably still worth buying three years from now. My biggest concern was the AF, but it seems the internet makes it look worse than it actually is. Of course it's not as snappy as DSLR's, but being used to the X100s since 2 years, the X-pro1 is way better (with the latest firmware 3.40 of course). So if you thinking about getting the X-pro1 because of the very good offers floating around, as a second body, or entry into the X system, I can more than highly recommend it! I was also thinking about the X-E2, but I'm glad I chose the X-pro1 instead! Few opinions on Fuji's newest baby and if you think about the X-T10 - I also saw it today for the first time, in my opinion a horribly small piece of camera. The reviews made mainly by asians, made it look much much bigger. If you have at least european small to slightly medium sized male hands (which probably most of us have), there's no chance to operate that camera comfortably. X-T1's size is the limit in terms of small!
  5. It's quite a let down, even ridiculous! Especially considering the short new release interval. X100s announced in January 2013 - X100t announced in September 2014! I bought my X100s in May 2013, when it finally became available, just to see 1 1/2 year later a successor to a 1150€ purchase was announced! Again, many don't realize, even Fuji themselves, that the camera is only 2 years old! I was hoping that we get at least: Chrome film setting A slight improvement of autofocus Exposure compensation in M mode That's all I'd ask for. I'm more than happy with the X100s and Fuji in general and will keep buying Fuji gear, but the X100s and their owners deserve a small FW update!
