Just purchased an X-T2. Any way of telling if the camera is new? Purchased new from CameraMall thru Amazon. Found it odd as I was opening box that one of the seals were already broken. Then as I was putting back items into box, noticed that the barcode/serial numbers were covered with white tape. I thought this was a practice for returns/refurb items.
S/N on my X-T2 is 71A6xxxx - has anyone purchased a new one recently? Wanting to see if my S/N is reasonably current. I would think so since they have been out of stock off and on so much.
Camera works fine as far as I can tell. Had it only 2 days so far. Just want to make sure I am getting what I am paying for.
