Greybeard got a reaction from LastLusitanian in Fuji X App Not Working - Anyone Else Having Same Issues?
At what point does it hang? Wi-fi needs to connect successfully in order for you take take photos in live view.
If you have taken photos using live view do you see the "Download" and "Camera" icons at the top of the screen?
Do you see the image you just took when you touch the download icon?
If so do you get the "Transfer the selected Image" button after you select the image you just took?
If so - and you press the image is that the point it hangs?

When you say "everything works" does that include the ability to use live view and take photos? What happens after you have taken a photo using live view? You switch to image transfer  (at the top of the screen - the download icon) and see the image you have just taken - select the image and "Transfer the selected image" button should appear - do you see that? Does the button not transfer the image?
Or where exactly is the problem? And what error message do you get (if any)?

There is a 4GB limit when a Mac computer is attached to a FujiFilm camera by cable - not sure if its an Apple problem or a FujiFilm problem - same doesn't apply when files are transferred by card reader.

Yes - I didn't mention build quality - I don't have an X-H1 to compare but I certainly have no complaints about the X-H2S. Its rock solid and all buttons and dials work exactly as they should - no unnecessary play. It gives every impression it will continue working for years. I haven't yet had need to test the weather sealing but everything fits well together - and in fact the removal of the AF mode switch and dial press switches are only going to improve the overall weather resistance.
As for murkiness - I just haven't seen it - perhaps someone will post some examples so I know what to look out for (and situations where the murkiness will appear)

No - its possible with the X-H2S but not the X-S10 - it could be added by firmware but doubtful that it will be

The problem I have with the review is that it doesn't address what I think is the main advantage of the camera for stills photographers i.e. speed and improved autofocus. He says that face/eye detection has not improved over the X-T4 but does not address subject tracking (beyond the comment that animals should not have been divided into birds and others which I agree with).
If you don't test the camera for its abilities to shoot wildlife and sports its difficult to come up with any conclusions about its value.
Much of the review was centered around what I think are relatively trivial criticisms - like the lack of focus mode switch, dial click switches and the lack of a battery charger.
I also think the review could have been 20 minutes shorter - and still have made the main points.

The X100V has a leaf shutter built into the lens which operates differently to the focal plane shutter that other FujiFilm cameras use - it operates differently and looks different.

No - there is no switch - firmware update won't be possible - there has been a suggestion that the lack of switch improves weather sealing but I don't know if that is true.

I don't understand the big deal about this - ISO can be assigned to the dpad - press up and ISO goes up - press down and ISO goes down - it shows in the EVF but it doesn't fill the EVF and disappears as soon as the change has been made.

This is about a limit of 4GB (binary GB) in transferring using the cable - as you have noted the workaround is to use a card reader.
Its not clear if this is a FujiFilm issue or an Apple issue - or both.
FujiFilm could do a better job of making this well known as it just happens without any error message and it isn't obvious it has happened until you try and run the chopped file (or look at the size).

The XT5 images are supported by Lightroom on the iPad - the only place you will see the blank square is when you are importing from the Photos app which doesn't support the XT5. Once the files are imported into Lightroom from Photos you will see them. Apple takes a long time to support new Fujifilm cameras - X-H2 isn't supported yet either (and of course compressed raws aren't supported from any Fujifilm X series camera).

I configure my X-H2S so that the joystick centres the focus point - but I tend to stay in wide/area tracking with subject detection so don’t need quick access to the point/zone size.

The camera is probably in full Auto - turn the switch next to the shutter speed dial away from the Auto setting and those menu items should appear.

Looks like a bug to me - doesn't seem to affect the autofocus - I have AF Point Display set to off so hadn't noticed before.
