  1. Hi, I posted on the XT20 forum, but thought I'd try here too since this may be a lens problem vs. a camera problem. I just received my 80mm macro last week and it has been killing my camera batteries on my XT20. The other 2 lenses I own are the 16 and 35 1.4 and they've never caused me any battery problems. I could take them out all day for casual shooting and still have juice the next day. With the 80mm macro, I'm getting 1-2 hours tops of shooting time. Yesterday, I got 204 shots off before the battery died. I never counted my shots on my other 2 lenses, but I would go to similiar locations and shoot similar things and never drain my battery. In fact, I'd come home and usually still have like 2/3 battery life remaining. I just put my charger into a new power outlet in a different room in case that outlet is having problems. Otherwise, I'm thinking I'm going to have to return this. Thought I'd put this out there in case anybody in this forum has suggestions. Thanks!
  2. No, I'm talking about concerns with the X-T20 camera and battery. I'm hoping its a perceived problem versus an actual problem. Specifically, it looks like they changed their battery icon to be more precise. It has more bar indicators. I think the X-T10 battery icon had 3 bars and I think this has 5 bars so it looks emptier faster. I did get a decent day of casual weekend shooting yesterday and it seemed to do ok. However, my wife who inherited my X-T10, and shot along side me had full battery bars when we returned home while my battery icons looked mostly empty although I was able to keep shooting at night. (Yes, I shot more pictures than my wife, and this is a real world and totally unscientific report). In terms of using the old battery with the new camera, I tried it once, and won't be doing it again. My camera got very hot (i was just shooting JPEG) and at one point it flashed some error message. I don't mean to bash this camera. In fact, I love it. After 4 days of use, I picked up my old X-T10 which got me to really notice the upgrade.
  3. I feel like the X-T20 battery is lasting significantly shorter than my X-T10. I noticed the phoblographer also mentions this: http://www.thephoblographer.com/2017/03/10/review-fujifilm-x-t20-fujifilm-x-mount/ Anybody else noticing shorter battery life? Wondering if I should expect shorter battery life due to this being a more powerful camera? Thanks for any feedback.
  4. I just upgraded from an X-T10 to an X-T20. On my X-T10 I was programing the front command dial so that I could select and control ISO. It looks like this is no longer possible, unless I'm missing something? I'm currently using the AEL button to bring up ISO and then whatever command dial my fingers move towards since the muscle memory from my X-T10 is not yet reversed. Curious how you all are working with ISO controls?
