  1. Hi, I haven't got any personal experience of either lens but I think it would be fair to say the Fujifilm 10-24 would be a more flexible lens, although the Fuji is an F4 compared to F2.8 for the Zeiss, the Fuji does have image stabilisation so you could probably shoot at slower shutter speed to compensate for that quite easily. Ephotozine.com website has reviewed both lenses, here are the links: https://www.ephotozine.com/article/carl-zeiss-touit-distagon-t--12mm-f-2-8-lens-review-22026 and https://www.ephotozine.com/article/fujifilm-fujinon-xf-10-24mm-f-4-r-ois-lens-review-24514. Personally I would pick the Fujifilm 10-24 just for the extra flexibility the focus range gives also the Fuji seems to maintain great sharpness across the whole zoom range, in fact I am saving up for the Fuji at the moment. I hope this is of some use to you
  2. Hi, Has anyone else experienced the problems that this reviewer has with the X-E3 especially the problems with using non Fujifilm lenses and problems with exposure compensation not working in shutter priority mode as well as the flickering screen, he has replied to some of the comments saying he had to turn camera off and on a few times to get exposure comp to work Best regards Mallyph

  4. I use Luminar 2018 on mac os and when I try to open a X-E3 raw file it only actually opens the jpeg side-car file that is embedded in the raw file, you can tell that Luminar is not actually using the raw file, by opening the develop filter, with a raw file the filter should be called Raw - Develop, when Luminar uses a jpeg file the filter is just called Develop. Also the photos app in mac os high sierra will not import X-E3 raw files, it says they are unsupported, high sierra will let you copy X-E3 raw files into it but its actual photo app will not import them even with high sierra 10.13.2. Luminar uses the Raw engine that comes with Mac OS. Lightroom will open the files because that uses its own raw engine, Mac OS raw engine so far does not support X-E3. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT207972
  5. I went from the X-T1 to the X-t20 and do not regret it, yes the viewfinder is smaller but is still very usable and on par with other mirrorless cameras. I did find the camera to be a bit small though so I fitted the MHG-XT10 hand grip to it and it handles so much better, but thats just me, you may find it to be fine as it is. Bang for buck it is a awesome camera for the money.
