  1. Reviewers have suggested that if you would shoot at f4 that the 10-24 is as good as the 16mm at f4. I chose the 10-24 for the wider capability and OIS even though not getting WR which the 16mm has.
  2. I have used a Metabones adapter with 4 different Nikon Micro Nikkor lenses (55 manual, 60 AF in manual, 105 manual and 105 AF in manual) and each performed fantastically with focus peaking. I don't know why I might choose a new Fuji micro lens when I can readily get 1:1 results with lenses that I already own or can purchase used in good or excellent condition.
  3. I have an XT2 and video is not a highly ranked need for me. Reviews suggest to me that if I were mostly interested in video that I would look at the GH5 and a Sony camera - as options. I suspect that I would purchase the GH5 due to lens choice options and cost.
  4. Additional info: A Canon coiled style extension cable will work with the XT2.
  5. I use the 100-400mm indoors for ice hockey and couldn't be happier. I have the 1.4X but would not use it (with this lens) in the hockey rink venue when shooting from a second deck above the rink. Since I have the 50-140 as well, I might use the 1.4X with it in the hockey rink and see which setup I prefer. By the way, I use zone focusing and have any out of focus issues.
  6. Since you already have the 18-55, I would look at the 10-24mm with OIS. Note that it is not WR - though. I have the 16-55 and love it - with WR but no OIS. I just got the 50 f2 and it is awesome - WR included - very happy. It's small size is very noticeable. BTW: I got the higher cost Metabones adapter and am enjoying using several Nikon lenses like the 55 and 105 micro nikkors.
  7. I bought several FUJI lenses to go with a new X-T2. I then bought a Metabones adapter to use with various Nikon lenses. I am pleased with all configurations that I have tried. I went to a Los Angeles area FUJI rep demo and asked if he used the Metabones adapter and his answer was yes, he has one and has used it. I particularly like my results with the adapter and either a 55mm or 105mm Micro Nikkor.
