  1. Battery life on mirrorless cameras is definitely a huge concern, especially for those of us that came from a full size DSLR. But only averaging a little over 100 shots per battery is, even by mirrorless standards, a far cry from being acceptable and I believe way below the norm for many of us. I have no PJ experience and I can imagine the demands on a system could be very trying, but I have shot events in remote locations and have averaged more like 300+ shots per battery.
  2. Sneike, thanks for the response. I was really hoping that I was on to something that may help, sorry to hear that this appears not to solve the problem.
  3. Possible Solution! Further testing is necessary, but I turned off “Pre Focus” in the menu settings and with my initial testing it seems to stay locked. I will need to test in the field and see if it does indeed solve the problem. Those of you that are having this issue, check and see if Pre Focus is turned on, if so turn it off and let us know if you see any changes in behavior when Back Focusing.
  4. I have been experiencing the same issue with my X-T2 and 16-55. Very frustrating. I will test it using my primes to see if it appears to only be an issue with the zooms. I am using latest firmware on everything.
  5. What triggers will work with X-T2 and Metz M400 and provide both TTL and HSS?
