  1. Just started trying to use it a bit, but cannot get control section to work, but I can download jpegs into iPhone photos.
  2. That top LCD tells you your last settings, even when turned off. SS and f stop I like. Also if using the tilt EVF adapter you need not look anywhere else for exposure information.
  3. I was curious with all the interest in the GFX if many have pre-ordered.
  4. Fuji stated recently that the S stands for SLR. In the same statement they said they could also make an 50R for Rangefinder if demand were there. The x Pro 2 has a nice hybrid rangefinder that could be easily incorporated into the GFX body.
  5. Forogot to answer your first line. I read a press release where a Phase representative said they owuld make a final decision once the GFX wa launched. C1 is a fantastic product and if they opened it up to ALL cameras I cannot help but believe they might profit greatly. Problem is they would need for all cameras to be presented to them for their testing for inclusion into C1. Perhaps other MF companies actually like that their cameras cannot use C1 and so they do not have to send cameras to Phase, a competitor, for C1 testing.
  6. Anyone heard when it might come to the USA? This year?
  7. The 110 should unbelievable with f2.0 , but I do like the OIS on the 120 but not the f4.0 so much.
  8. It seems Fuji gear is on sale at one time or another. We should just wait for their sales and then the prices will come even lower. Same with Brick and mortar department stores. Only go when they have a sale (except for the holidays of course-but then buy early or with a gift card).
  9. Looks like new adapters are going to be offered and even for Zeiss OTUS (expensive) lenses. Just do not know if these lenses will cause vignetting due to their being designed for FF 35mm use-Nikon or Canon.
  10. Just happen to wonder if anyone has taken undeveloped instax films through multiple X-ray machines at airports? Was it affected upon printing?
  11. After having used the Pentax 645Z with similar Sony 50MP sensor to the GFX, you will love its output. Your image results just MIGHT convince you to print more than before. It did with me.
  12. All above is good for most. I must say I did find when using my HB 503CW with 250 or 350 lens it was invigorating. Personally I find my normal lens more in the 35mm FL variety. That's why the Fuji 32-64 would fit my needs to a tee. I would very much like to see a 150/2.8 Fuji lens. I loved that lens on my 645Z system even though it was an old pre-digital design and I used it mainly for landscape. Regarding the physical size of MF lenses, did you see how huge that new 50/1.4 Leica S lens is in size?
  13. If you have ever used MF cameras and lenses, you would see that the DOF on a 2.8 is thin and similar to a 35 FF 1.4 lens. Thus that 110/2.0 will be stellar. Remember you can adapt HC lenses on it and they go out to 300mm.
  14. Based on the menu items shown in the Fujiguys video on the GFX yes to both.
  15. Probably some setting somewhere, but I have yet to get a printer. Is it good to have a printer in order to give out photos if wanted?
  16. Interesting comment on using sRGB versus Adobe RGB in footnote on post #14..
  17. Also, if both ISO and speed on A and exp comp set to C, one can quickly adjust exposure with front command dial (push it in to see the dial above the exp comp scale on left of EVF) based on histogram if it is set to be seen on the EVF.
  18. Quickly looked at the specs and seems the smaller xt20 has similar still shooting capabilities as the XT2. Any comments?
  19. Thanks for reminding me my link did not take. Let's try again. ‎www.fujifilm.com/products/digital_cameras/gfx/fujifilm_gfx_50s/pdf/index/gfx_catalogue_01.pdf
  20. The new GFX catalog available on line is very comprehensive and answers many many questions about this new system. The flexibility of this system is enormous. I like the RAW tiff conversion being possible.
  21. Not clear how you are using it for it to get hot, but shooting still images with XT2-mine does not get hot. You want hot just try the Leica M240. Yikes compared to the XT2.
  22. Agree. I happen to use C1 and think it is a very good RAW processing software. For me it processes better than LR. I like the sessions choices and of course catalogs. It is a very effective software and works well with XT2 files.
  23. Sorry could not help as I know our cameras have different settings somewhere in that Menu.
