  1. Perhaps. The files do not behave like the wonderful 645Z files of a year ago. I did like that one could choose to have the files saved as DNG's while using the 645Z. I might revisit the GFX if needed in the future.
  2. Decided GFX not my cup of tea. It seems something looks cooked into the RAWs and that is not what I want.
  3. With todays SSD's one can take a backup device with 1TB the size of a credit card for $400+. I use this along with my Phase and even on a 3 week trip shooting every day I have never come close to filling it up with huge uncompressed files.
  4. WARNING The Fotodoix adapter for the GFX does not work on modern mamiya 645 lenses. It only works on older Mamiya 645 lenses which probably have been made OVER 8-10 years ago.
  5. I recall the Pentax GPS unit that clipped onto the hot shoe of my 645Z was fast and accurate when out shooting landscapes. I found it extremely helpful for locating exactly where I had shot an image or series of captures. If Fuji is serious about encouraging landscape photographers to buy and use the GFX in the field, where one often finds himself in remote areas, then they should start developing a clip-on GPS unit sooner than later. Otherwise most landscape photographers might feel left out and view the GFX as mainly a studio camera and instead buy the X1D.
  6. Also got my notice of GFX and 32-64 shipping today so should have it next week sometime.
  7. Not hearing of many delivered so far. As such, that means many questions cannot be answered yet. Congrats on receipt.
  8. Lack of comments/reviews might be a symptom of limited product in the marketplace. I do believe B&H has yet to ship them, but I did see Amazon got a few out the door.
  9. I am hearing that ON1 will support the GFX RAWs. I would be fine with that as I gave up on Adobe who wants me to regularly pay for using their software for the rest of my life and never own it. I would rather buy a RAW converter than be forced into that method of use.
  10. I would be concerned that the image circle of the XF lenses would not cover the entire GFX frame.
  11. I bet those are all jpeg files as RAW has not been implemented for demo purposes as far as I know.
  12. It is planned to "emerge" on 28 February in the US.
  13. I did not pay much attention to this blog post because it referenced B&H in photo so I assumed it was a B&H notification as it was not stated this was a direct quote from Fuji.
  14. As I use C1 exclusively now and who really knows about C1 support for the GFX, I am now considering cancelling my pre-order until such time as that issue is a fact. I had the 645Z and loved that Sony sensor, but had to use LR.
  15. What a pleasant surprise to hear this via Billy-the Fuji guy in a video over on Fujirumors.
  16. The price on B&H is $6499. So I guess you are willing to pay $1 more. It is weather sealed as are the lenses. Agree a 1.4x or 2x or both would be welcome ALONG WITH a 150 telephoto lens. Also would like a Mamiya 645 mount early on which allows AF.
  17. Watch out-she is telling you what to buy and you're not even married! Hate to see what happens once you do get married. Hey, why not put the wedding off for a year and then all OK photog wise.
  18. Hope there's not many pre-orders at B&H so I can get mine sooner rather than later. Heard today that in fact B&H opened their pre-orders on the camera on 18 January at about 8pm. Did not even try at that hour as we were all told pre-orders started on 19 January. How naive of me to believe the 19th.
  19. Assume anyone using Buff Einsteins has not had an issue?
