  1. Thanks everyone for the great advice, much appreciated.
  2. I want to ask the Fuji community if anyone has a good process of cleaning the outer barrel of a lens? I recently had my 10-24mm repaired by Fuji service, and not only did they fix it, it came back looking brand new. All the rubber and metal was cleaned to perfection. I have a few other lenses that can use a good cleaning, however, I not sure what to use and I don’t want to dry out the rubber rings using the wrong cleaning products. Any input and help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance, Tom
  3. I know I'm late to the table on this one. I have a X-T2 that recently I'm having problems with the top dial plate. The shutter release no longer goes alf way down and the dials are hard to move. I sent it in to Fuji and the repair price is $600. USD, it's worth getting repaired. I know the camera is getting up there in age. My 10-24mm won't move from aperture to program, and, looking at the bottom of the barrel, or, mounting end, has a hair or crack. Either way, doesn't look good. The good think, it doesn't show up in any image so far. My 16-55, the focus ring is hard to move, it's making grinding noise. I have been a Fuji fan and user for over eight years, I take care of my equipment like a new born. I just lost faith why all this is going on. I wrote Fuji support last week, no return comment. This puts me in a position to maybe looking at alternative camera manufacturers.
  4. I'm interested in making a purchase for a X-T3 and was told that another sale may take place this Spring. Anyone have any inside to this?It would be great to save a few dollars. It was priced at $999. USD over this past holiday season. Thanks in advance.Tom
  5. Hello Forum, I know I just missed the holiday special for the X-T3 being priced at $999. I couldn't get one due to financial issues and the holidays. I'm sure the answer is one, but, I thought I would ask - does anyone know if this special price may be coming back again? Thanks for your response in advance. Tom

  7. Helo Forum, I recently moved to a location that has a lighthouse near buy. I plan to go there and try my luck photographing it at night. The lighthouse has a concentrated beam of light every few seconds My goal is to capture the light beam, but, not as a sunstar. Regarding the lense I plan to use, probably my 10-24mm. I’m looking for any settings help that will help my accomplish getting the shot. Any thoughts of dynamic range, ISO, etc., settings would be appreciated. My other two lenses that I use are the 55-200, and the 18-55. I thought the 10-24 would provide me with a being wide range capture. My camera is the X-T2. Again, any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Tom
