  1. Hey Ranger, out of interest, I am getting my great battery life with high performance mode always on. I don't think that contributes and I am sure I'd get even better battery life if I turned this off.
  2. Hey guys, this isn't just me making a random brag statement, I'm hoping it will get us all better battery life. I get a crazy amount of frames out of my XT2. With the battery grip loaded, I get no less that 1500 frames with more than a full battery free afterwards. My opinion on why I get very very good battery life, two things: I use EVF ONLY mode. So no automation needed to turn the EVF on, and also turn the camera off after every shot(s) as a reflex, then instantly on as I raise the camera to shoot again. I find it faster than Sensor Activated EVF and have never missed a shot. I think in a sentence, you can get fantastic battery usage from the XT2 if you keep it off when it's point blank unnecessary to be on. I think my last wedding was 1700 frames on one set of batteries. With PLENTY power left to continue. 12 hours later!
  3. Iridient X Transformer with a Watched Folder workflow in LR. Very best of both worlds.
  4. Hi guys, I'm a semi-pro photographer from South Africa. Likely going more full time next year and will probably take it up as a career. I love journo type shooting and spend as much time as is possible on university campuses during protests etc. That being said, I don't have a massive portfolio yet. SO! I'm here to chat to you fine people because after shooting Canon since day one and still loving and owning a 6D and a 7D2, I have bought a second hand X-T1 and a 35mm f1.4 (along with the kit 18-55). I love my Fuji and I wish it could do everything, but no camera can, so I think I will always shoot a mixed bag. Do I want an X-T2? Heck yeah! But $$$ and exchange rates and all that. Glad to be here, seems like a rad community. See you on the forums! Paul
  5. Hi guys, anyone got a video of the taking off and re-glueing the rubber grip section? Keen to fix mine and I'm pretty handy, but I don't just want to yank it off. Thanks! Paul
