  1. Well, I don't understand why, but that works. I can see why it would be hard on the battery. I guess I could keep it on continuous but turned off on the lens, but that could get old. I also have a Fuji XT-2. I just checked and it is set on continuous and works just like the XT-30. I never noticed any undue wear on the battery. I don't understand the reasoning behind this, but it must be the way they intended it to work. At any rate, thank you very much for your help. Maybe I should read through the manual again!
  2. I have shooting only selected. I didn't see any recommendations in the manual and I didn't really know what "continuous vs shooting only" involved.
  3. I have a FUJI X-T30 on which the OIS feature only seems to work on auto setting. The same lens will work correctly on my FUJI X-T2.
  4. It feels like it has been turned off at times. I've used the same lens on both cameras to check whether the lens may be at fault, and it hasn't, but I will still update the lens and the camera just in case. Thanks for your reply.
  5. I have an X-T2 and an X-T30. Using the same lens (18-135) the X-T2 OIS works well, but the X-T30 does not. I don't know whether to trade the X-T30 in on another X-T2 or X-T3. Shouldn't the OIS work equally well on both cameras?
  6. I was shooting indoors with my Fuji X-T1 and 18-135 lens, no flash. I was bracketing and shooting Raw plus normal jpeg. I took about 300 pictures of a children's play, but when I got home, approximately 1/3 of the raw files were not generated in the middle of the shoot. The jpegs were ok, and the raw files which were on the card were fine. I can't imagine what would have caused this, but I am left with no confidence in the camera. Should it be sent off for repair?
