hi after many attempts to shoot long exposures using a cable release and manual focus I am getting no where fast! the images are not in focus I do focus in af first and check bulb mode etc its as if the camera is changing the settings? any help would be great?

firstly hello I am a new member, I know there are a lot of posts about the mount adapter but I have confused myself! I have the x pro 1 and 2 and have a Helios lens which is a screw mount can I use a m42 or do I need another m39 adapter? thanks mark
